That's because you don't know better. We got skills nobody can dominate ps3 tour like it goes on the Xbox ;)

You re exaggerating a bit.. Sh0case have been defeated by two different players by now in reg tour. Fabada n Likos were unbeatable almost when they used to spend hours playing top spin 4.. Now offcourse with playing there itst matches only their level has gone down a bit.. But like dennie has also started to play topspin 4 regularly now he was a big challenge for sh0case..

Haha yes right same players keep on winning on xbox. Unlike on ps3 we always see different players winning

You are right, i don't know better. And from the distance it looks like the ps3 tour is more competetive like the Xbox tour, because a lot more players sign up for tournaments.
The Xbox tour lost its best players since the last update one by one.

But i wish you luck for the matches against Tee and Sh0.... use your skills! ;-)

No match ?.. tought u used welch too and ur 1 of the best on xbox tour? should be enough to compete right. if u cant compete with them u cant compete with ps3 tour either.. (dunnow where u are anyway tought u would join it.)

Dennie don't forget, I only lost 2 matches on ps3, both were to Sh0case, so I never lost to an actual PS3 player.. I beat you, fabada and likos, all the players I wanted to play other than Zooloo, so I just decided to stop on the tour, I will be back to give you another match, hopefully at roland garros!

Ouch, just remember Fifa and Sh0 are xbox players not PS3, of course they play better on the console they´ve been playing longer.

And yeah i used to be up there with them but i stopped playing and they improved a lot.

I´ve grown tired of Top Spin 4, and i hated the PS3 D-pad.

I used to serve and volley when I first started the TS3 tour and it was the most fun I've ever had on a tennis game, the volleying mechanics were so superior to the TS4 mechanics, although I became a baseliner towards the end of my TS3 days on the tour.

After being spanked bagels in my first tour matches here, I'm giving baselining a few more shots before I religiously switch to SnV. I tried this setup and I'm beating the CPU 6-0 6-0 alot of the time so I still have my SnV skillssss  If you can serve with good placement and vary the location and pace then you will be a successful SnV on TS4 in my opinion.

I'm n°7 in the Xbox ITST tour by playing all my match as a SV since 1 year, so yeah it's possible.

The only thing is that it's totally impossible to beat the really 2-3 , with this SV style (on Xbox, Fifa and Bill for instance).

I don't put Sh0case in that list as I never played him in regular tour. I think he's not as good as Fifa against SV setup.

But you really have your chance against all the other guys in the top10-20, if you master the SV style at 100% (by 100% I mean, a perfect anticipation in 3 dimensions, right and left side, but also in terms of lobs). And that require a lot of training to remember all the shots people usually do in a precise situations.

Does the speed attribute actually decide if you get to the net quicker after the serve?

Even when I hit good serves my player still kind of gets stuck at the service T in no mans land and sometimes hit some rubbish shot which is an easy setup usually for the opponent, how frustrating

You just need train ;)
People think it's easy to be great in SV, but it's not, it's way harder than being good at baseline because of a lot of stuff like that.

The guy in front of you always variate his shots : in your feet, at right, at left, above your head... You need to understand naturally all the answers to make against these strategies and that takes some time...

Blasting some ultra powerful semi volley require a perfect timing and position for instance and that's not something you will do naturally.

Ofcourse I am learning the TS4 mechanics of SV. I used to SV in TS3 and got quite good at it so I'm no stranger to this play style at all. In TS3 going to the net even after a powerful well placed serve was an easy put away. I still think the TS3 SV mechanics are way superior to TS4

S&V is hard to master. The main problem with s&v players are they dont have that good forhand and backhand attributes. So its much harder to win breakpoints. Thats why i think you dont need S&V cause you can use the power settings and do points by just serve and finish with the second shot. You can also use perfect drop shots volley without having a high volley attribute. S&V is not that strong compare to reality and power settings in TS4.
