Wow Roddick is hitting his backhand as well as I have ever seen, not only is it holding up to ferrer but is actually hurting him. Good to see

so much respect for Roddick, what a great pro player.

Wild Card Shvedova won her first set against French Open finalist Errani 6-0. While that is already rather impressive, she didn't lose a single point in doing so.

I hope Roddick can pull through. Ferrer's game is dull as hell.

honestly neither Ferrer nor Roddick are fun to watch, lately i have fun watching guys like Tsonga, i really hope he can get to SF/F

PS: Obviously i'm rooting for Ferrer, but like i said both guys deserve my respect, great players and sportsmen

ferrer boring to watch... if you want to see what good footwork is like then watch him no does it as good. he is a little beast out there. I admire what he has been able to do in the tennis game

Yes he is boring...good footwork doesn't translate into an exciting game.

btw in theory Murray, with Nadal out, should reach the final, the last 2 years he lost against him in SF

If Murray s nerves are strong enough... maybe he will lose before the semi...

Del Potro or Ferrer in the QF, both are definitely beatable on grass but there's also Tsonga potentially waiting in the SF.

Yup, 7 times RG champion aka "the greatest clay courter of all time" and current Nr. 2 of the world, Rafa Nadal, lost in the 2nd round in 5 sets vs. nr. 100.

Federer was 0-2 down vs. Julien Bennetau but could escape (4-6 6-7 6-2 7-6 6-1).
