That looks Tasty.

Got a new T.V 42" samsung.

Buckfast tonic wine beers and barbecues( weather permitting)

I'd like too see spain do the treble but Holland or Germany will win. Van Persie top scorer. Biggest shock Eire beating Espagna 1-0 muey beunos.

Most gpals holland. Least goals Ireland. First hat trick Mario Bibliotelli.

Im not looking forward to this tournament at all. Holland is just not in great shape. Our defence has only gotten worse since 2010. Our main leftback is injured and we dont really have a cover. A 17 year old player will probably be our left back. He is a talent but so unexperienced. Only a while ago he got overrun in an away match against Valencia. And thats not even close to the opposition he will face during the group stage (Nani, Muller and probably Rommedahl). On top of that Mathijssen (one of our centre backs) seems to be injured and for that position we also dont have a great cover.

Im guessing we will be playing even more defensively and geared towards genius moments of players up front (sneijder, robben and van persie). Of course we reached the WC final with this but i do not like this way of playing. Holland should be a team that plays offensive football and applies a lot of pressure. And we cant be that "lucky" twice.

Champion: Germany

Runner-up: England
Revelation of the tournament (team and player): England (ill have to think about the player)
Top scorer: Gomez (Although i thought his CL final performance was poor. If that is how he plays at the important moments it might be a problem)
Best player: Kroos
Most scoring team: Germany
Fewest scoring team: Greece
Biggest upset: Netherlands fourth in the first round
Most goals scored by one player in a match: Rooney
Worst match of the tournament: Poland - Greece (the opener 0-0)
Best match of the tournament: Croatia - Spain (+ England - Spain in the quarters)

Well, I am portuguese. I guess netherlands will have a bad time in the group. Let's see if i is not Portugal who jumps off early. Well Slicer, can't Stijn Schaars do the position with competence?

My two cents:

Champion: ITALY
Runner-up: GERMANY
Revelation of the tournament (team and player) RUSSIA and MARIO GÖTZE (Germany)
Top scorer: LLORENTE (Spain) (they'do better in putting him instead of Torres)
Best player: BALOTELLI (Italy)
Most scoring team: GERMANY
Fewest scoring team: IRELAND
Biggest upset: NETHERLANDS
Most goals scored by one player in a match: This is pure gambling.... Hélder Postiga?

He seems to be in the running for the position as well. He had a horrible match in a friendly versus England on that position though. And if i understand correctly he only played there once more in his entire career. That was this season in one match with his current team. 45 minutes versus Benfica. So, i'm not having a lot of faith in him.

Flo, I think you're giving England way 2 much credit. No Rooney for the first 2 games and a brans spanking new manager just be4 tournament starts is not a good combo. There is not really any depth 2 the squad.

I did'nt know the dutch defence was so poor right now but I believe that the front 3 can light up the tournament and can score more than concede.

I'm not fully sure how the draw works but HOLLAND GERMANY SPAIN and CROATIA for the semis.

You are probably right. Then im going for Italy as runner up (if not meeting up with Germany earlier). I just have a feeling it is not going to be Spain's tournament.

Lets be honest, WC 2010 was way less spectacular from Spain then EC 2008. I think that will go even further in this tournament and they will get eliminated. Maybe even in the group? We'll see.

Yep, probably right, the "surprise factor" which worked great in 2008, with that spectacular style is no longer "active", i mean all the teams know the way we play and should know how to beat us... or at least they should have a better tactic

16 entries used to be WC only, so many new countries in Europe after the downfall of communism :)

I don't like the locations, especially Ukraine, I wouldn't feel very safe travelling around there. Poland is ok but the prices on the black market are insane and if you look at some group pairings, Italy-Spain, Germany-Portugal...

Germany ALMOST did that from 1972-1976, lost the 1976 final on penalties.

I've been on Odessa. I have no words to describe such a beautiful experience. So much nature monuments. The only problem u hve to be careful about Ukraine mafia.

I think Spain will win, with a Xavi goal in the final. 1-0. Im afraid of spanish defense, Sergio Ramos-Pique. Big hole.
Greece will be the surprise of the tournament. Playing with 8 defense players. Like in 2004.

After seeing a few different programmes about the massive underworld of hooliganism, rascism and xenophobic beliefs of an element of support in Ukraine and poland I think this could be a very violent tournament.
