I can upload the video and you will see I did more flat shots than top spin shots..
I play nothing like Likos and there are clear differences between Fifa Tee and I too, we have completely different strategies.
The fact that we both prefer to use control shots is the only valid thing in your post.

I'm realising the PS3 tour is not even different to the Xbox tour.

I m not complaining about your playstyle. Did I say that you are a cheater or you use cheesy tactics? I just gave an example to patko that it has became a neccessity to use control shots because they are the only way to beat top guys. I m not complaining about you or fifa tee. I already mentioned that you guys are fair and soo is your playstyle. Or did I ever mention that using top spins is cheesy? No hard feelings mate. It's a game

In my opinion control shots are way overpowered in TS4! But i dont think it should be banned cause its part of the game! Like patko said when i first got the game i played with flat and top spin shots with no control shots at all! After ive played an old player here from itst in World Tour the guy crushed me with control shots with short angles giving me no chance to play! Seems that even if you have a player with 100 in power, other player with no power at all can hit more powerfull shots with control than flat, like it was with welch, and thats totally unreal, but we have to understand that this is a video game and not real life tennis. Sadly the game became more of a control shot battle than a fun game to play!
But i think its kind of exagerated to ban those shots from the tour! We cant do nothing to make the game more real, only 2K can work on that for the next game! If we start banning everything theres no more game to play and were going to conclude that TS4 its a **** game!
In my opinion we have a lot of players on tour who just doesnt accept losing!
Just to make it clear i hate those control shots but dont think banning them will solve anything!

I said it in a funny way to ban control shots. I was not serious about it lol. Everyone took "banning control shots" quite seriously :evil:

@Fifa Tee & Sh0Case : except Super Smash Tennis, no tennis games based its gameplay on such a "controled shot" gameplay (i Mean : just press at the good time).

TS4 is like a Dance Dance Revolution game : press at the good time and you're the best.

The problem is that in tennis, if you play it, you have to PREPARE before hitting a shot : that's why 99% of the tennis games ever created required to pre-press before hitting... That gameplay gives you a better tennis feeling.

If you play in a control-shot style in reality, you would put all your balls outside or in the net in reality ! So you argument = 0/20, as usual, unfortunately...

It's mad how you typed in caps and that bold font but you don't actually understand what I said in response to your post.
Nobody accused you of saying those things. :lol:
You don't know what our style of play is though, which was my whole point.

[quote="JohnCurveo"]Marco, if there is doubles in olimpic games itst, we have to play it!

That would be funny, yes. Cause we're both from the same country, it could be possible. Switzerland is not so a large country fortunately. 8)

Read all the posts, thx for the feedbacks. Of course wasn't my intention to create hard discussions, but if someone thinks in another way, so it's inevitable. We should see us as a big family, and I can talk by my experiences, also in familiys there can be hard discussions.
But at the end everything is fine again.

So let's shake our hands again, in a virtual way. :)

@Tam:
I think to know very well this italian guy.... Just watch my last match....

@eriera:
2K should with a patch disarm a little bit these very fast control shots. They are the only who can, yes.
And yes, if someone can't accept to lose, then maybe this control shots will be played to many times in a unsporty way at the end.

Didnt mean to exaggerate my or highlight my post more than normal. Btw I still don't see bold letters and caps. Something seriously Is wrong with my phone then

We're waiting a patch for almost 6 months, nothing was done, and nothing will be done, the game will stay as it is... Unfortunately :/

So nothing remains, than waiting for Top Spin 5, with hopefully all this improvements.
Don't now how much 2K earned with TS4, hopefully enough to be motivated to program TS5.

Of course, it's very difficult to create a "perfect and based to the reality" tennis game. Tennis Elbow maybe comes very close.

First of all stop comparing TS4 with real tennis, that's insane. Which tennis player makes 1-2 unforced errors in a match?

For the short cross shots. It's bullshit that when you only do short cross shots, you'll win the game. You can only do it a t certain moments. And also, it's your own fault if your opponent could have made this short cross shot. You just need em in the game because there are no unforced errors.
