Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Dennie, you NEED to play this game if you enjoy playing real tennis too.

This is the best simulator for tennis I've played in terms of ball physics and how the point flows.
The speed of the strokes is spot-on and you have to think tennis in order to win.
This is the first tennis game I've hit balls on the centre of the court in order to construct a point (not think how to get some absurd angles all the time)!
Very important for making this game feel like real tennis is the footwork that is almost manual (the ball doesn't work as a magnet with you)

It's obvious that the designer has got a lot of tennis experience, maybe he was on the tour.

This game only lacks in presentation, which sam250's megapatch comes to fill in for.
The original game's variety in courts, sounds and player options is poor but if you install this patch, you've got every ATP pro within the top1000!!! available (with very good animation and play style proximity for top150) as well as every court for ATP 250,500,1000,GS!!!

Tennis Elbow has a very primitive charm to it that I can't fully explain.

Try the demo and see if the mechanics work for you but I'm telling you with the patch tennis elbow goes to a whole new level.

Best experience I've had with the game has been with all ball previews off, 3D and 3rd person camera. But after a while it gets too repetitive to play the same 3D courts again and again (there aren't many) so I switched t 2D.

I did a little test recording to see how it works.

Kinda hard to record your screen without it bogging down / becoming laggy at points..

Game is great though.

Nicely done with Elite! :tu Although you both being rather safe there, take more risks!

I will try to record some matches in the next few days too...

I would need a few volunteers who play on Junior 10 and higher to test somethings. If anyone interested, shoot me over a PM. If your level not high enough, first get better, in order to run proper testing I would need players who can hold a rally and use drops and lobs effectively. Basic net play is a must too.

Just beat Nadal in the final of Dubai on Club 6.... took 52 minutes!
And yes, I needed to take way more risks against Nadal :-p

Is there a way to replay an entire match within TE 2011, or only the previous point?

Can't wait for the tour to start... Gotta get the chops up though.
I haven't played another tennis game since I got this!

I will "have" the game on Wednesday or Thursday (no credit card, no paypal and some lack of time ;)), until then I'm playing that 6-game set over and over again -- with Elite controls, slow auto-positioning and today for the first time without any indicators. Still many things to learn about the game, my net game is non-existent so far.

My baseline game is quite solid, though, but hard to judge when I don't know how "difficult" my opponent in the demo is (I've always pressed "Yes, a lot stronger." after handing out a couple of bagels, now I'm having close sets, winning some, losing some).

By the way, the PS3 pad works fine on a PC. Initially I was better with the keyboard, but now I'm better with the PS3 pad.
