Comparing the glitch set up with the update

Im not going to stop playing here just because cheaters need an advantage to win. Its the same thing as people who tramline serve and go out width every time, yes it is annoying and yes it gives you and unfair advantage but good players find a work-way around that. If my opponent wants to glitch just bring it on you fags im going to play fair and still smoke your asses.

Did you try to play against someone who used that glitch? If he can hit perfects, or even goods, wow he will gape your butt. It actually isn't the same game he and you will play. It's way more unfair than tramline serves or other things that are forbidden on ITST.

Option 2 is not really bad : lobs werent as easy as now and the game was finally more reactive, fast, and fun than it is now.

Option 3 is off course good too. But i'm honestly for a suspension of all tournaments until a solution is found.

I think that any option that gets everyone on the same level is great. If you consider the possibility that this has been going on since the first balancing update dropped then it explains a LOT of player frustrations with the updates against one another. Also Loki and Zguen I'm down for testing and demonstrating a difference in my character if need be tomorrow.

Anyway, I have contacted 2K about the issue. Once I have a response I will inform you of it contents. Keep in mind, 2K may choose not to support the game at this point. I am in contact with the "right people" to get a clear answer.

In the meantime, all tournaments and matches will go on as scheduled. You may skip a tournament or two while waiting for this to be fixed, this is your choice. The tour will not be put on hold and will continue according to ATP schedule.

In the meantime, I suggest you have your opponent and yourself log-into the WT prior to the match (as described in this thread) and if you suspect foul play - notify the host. We will keep a close track of these complaints. As always, quitting mid match will result in a loss for you, so either don't start the match or finish it and complain then. "He said, she said" situations will be ruled as a No Match.

It is important to understand that while a glitch certainly helps a player, it is not completely negates ones skills. I know a few players here who play with no glitch and beat the guys "you think" are glitching.

In conclusion, I would like to ask everyone to remember that this is still just a game and that losing or winning does not matter that much, stay cool and let us work through this situation. We will resolve it. Have faith.

I notice sometimes when Im invited that my players atributes have change (85 FH instead of 80), so I have to quit and log to the Wt first. When I invite that doesnt happen. It also never happens to me in sim mode. Now everybody is talking about this glitch and to be honest its like vmoe says like paranoia. I play friendly matches with some people in the tour and now it isnt fun anymore... Today I play this friend. He invited me and I win easy. He says its not ¨normal¨ maybe is just because the glitch. Then I invite him and beat him again easy and still he says there isnt ¨normal¨...

What I mean is that I haven't feel or see something a-normal when I play somebody, just the change of attributes that I talk at first. In that case I quit or ask the other player to quit . What does this mean, that only some players have this glitch...

Agreed with elgogrin..after losing many times to elgogrin I also once thought that his player is glitched one but I was wrong.. I have simply accepted that he is better than me.. Till last week there was no sign of this glitch but since few days when this was discussed on forums by some of the xbox players everyone after that discussion is finding a excuse to blame their oppOnent that their opponent was pre patched.. You guys want to avoid this pre patch this then one simple rule for it.. " have sportsmanship and accept that your opponent is better than you" honestly all this panic is crazy

It is definitely possible to lose 1-6, 1-6 against a pre-patched player and lose 1-6, 1-6 against the same player without glitch - difference is how these matches turn out. In the former case no chance for the player who lost, but in the latter case you have the feeling "If I played better then I could have made it closer, but the other guy was just too good."

For me the case with Elgogrin is clear: He is a great player, especially tactically and mentally one of the best. And Murmeltier showed that he is not unbeatable. Many things also have to do with how players match up against each other. I can match up well against player A and player A can beat player B, but in some cases I simply don't stand a chance against player B.

As I've already stated the glitch will make the most difference between two players who are pretty close in skill level. If a guy isn't that good and uses the glitch and you are good, you'll probably beat him 6-1 or 6-2, rather than 6-0. Same goes in the reverse scenario of course.
