What is YOUR favorite coach with match referenced play ?

Postby tdbchess » Tue, 15 Nov 2011 12:24

Hi all,

I created this post to know what is your favorite coach and the match References played with him.
(e.g: Winner US Open with Drew Welsh)

My new coach is a silver coach: Kensuke Nagano with 0/15/5

Bye

Kensuke is pretty beast I think Tam was talking about him too. His main problem is a huge lack of speed I think a good Welch could probably take him out. I have a Masaki Moriya setup I like a lot as well as obviously Tomas Madr he's very solid as well. My Moriya setup is very Borg like though and probably my favorite I've had so far.

For a very long time i played 00/15/05 - Coach - Sahy Rabari ( OR 00/16/04 until the last patch/update)
Just recently - This week, created a new player - same stats, but different coach - Roman Neuwirth.
I feel like the gameplay is magnified somewhat with this new coach. my control is WELL better and can counter the magnitude of SSB or DHH.... i mean... who needs instant rocket when everyone online is playing control nowadays.... or have the counter attribute (like Neuwirth).

I think that Rabari and Neuwirth are pretty similar. Shot counter is a helpful skill but a lot of people confuse their own "actual perfect" shot with something that is produced by Shot counter. I actually think SC works a lot like Top Spin Invasion and Slice Invasion as I've noticed it make my flat power shots more precise as well. In SIM I think you notice the difference a lot more though and really I say play with whatever style you like and feels best! :-)

very nicely put Bill, i really agree with that... but i also stand firm from what i said about control differences between these 2 coaches. And that is that it actually pays off when when you hit a perfect control shot and mostly goes in the direction your aiming for. (dependant on what your opponents type of shot is hit previously to yours ofcourse as is with all other coaches) The Flat control shot works great... compared to Rabari's, that would "putter" or very straight up the court - over the net moslty. all the rest you are spot on so many many THANKS...!
Ain't it great when were helping others... just imagine how many new players are reading our insightful words of TS4 wisdom
