Ahhh zooloo's game and style!! what a nightmare.
The only problem with this guy is that he is overrpowered and unfortunately moderators aren't doing anything against him!!!
btw, using rare tactics to surprise your opponent at important moments is what EVERYBODY(REAL and TS4) players do! some have success and some dont.
So your opponent is just giving some excuses..."hey,you must play the same tennis all the time so i can read you perfectly" b ulls h it.
And the funny thing is i know why he is saying that i feel his pain, you probably attacked him with those DEEEEEP(Ahhh i mean it) shots from right to left the whole match so he was mad at you everytime something new was coming from you.
its a very tough style to play against.

Recently i got accused by an ITST player that i played cheap because i used some short crosscourt shots when defending break points, while i didnt use many of those short shots during the rest of the match.

He said it would have been better if i used those short crosses all the time, and the fact i used it at key moments was cheap.

My opinion is i like to play with variation and use surprise effect, so i always try to do something special on BP. And i believe common view on short crosses on ITST are they can be boring if abused but they re definately not cheesy. And fact is many players use it a lot more than me.

So i d like to have you guys opinion on this point, and on the way i play in general cause i really want to play fair and give entertaining matches.

by short crosses you are referring to drop shots?

If yes, according to the cheese fair play thread these shots should fit the situation, I don't think break point is something you can call a fit. You either move the player out wide or deep.

Strictly speaking, if you go by that definition, it can be considered cheese by some people.

Control shots can never be considered cheap. I can't understand why your opponent complains.

Lol,, zooloo, you know urself that you are a fair player, I mean how many maches did you play at ITST by now? How many times did you already hear you are a very good and fair player? It's a little strange you make a topic called "how is my game" lol it almost seems like you wanna hear how good you are I'm sure you know your fair and one of the best on this site

Nah, not bad.

I think because of the way they 'work' in the game can make them annoying. The game allows these strange, very acute angle short cross shots, that are a pain to deal with. Feels like the game just generates them seemingly at random, even when the person playing the shot isn't in a position where they should be able to create such an angle. But hey... thats TS4 for you.

While I can understand your opponent's frustration, he was wrong to accuse you of cheap play.
