Djokovic in Finals of ANY Grand Slam on Very Hard

Postby Imatk » Wed, 26 Oct 2011 05:22

So I'm playing on Very Hard and in every Grand Slam final I've played in Djokovic has ALWAYS been my opponent.

The last one I just played was the US Open and I beat Federer 3-0 3-0 in the semis and I LOST to Djokovic 3-0 3-1

And the one game was almost luck.

No matter what serve I hit he crushes (the same serves that I ACED Federer and others with)

No matter what ground stroke I hit he handles it with ease.

I've got 94 power and a 92 forehand and if I get a setup shot off a weak return I put that shot AWAY but against him.... no... just wanders on over there and hits it back.

SO to ANYONE who has beaten this SOB in the finals of a slam how the hell did you do it?

BTW I can crush him in the finals of ANY other tournament.

dude i feel your pain. it took me FOREVER to win my first grand slam because i refuse to play on anything less than very hard and Djokovic was in the final with me EVERY TIME. I think only once after a long time he wasn't in the final and instead nadal was (french open go figure). Djokovic is THE most overpowered player in the game. It's ridiculous. Although i do commend 2K sports for pretty much predicting him becoming number 1 and winning a bunch of slams lol.

I suggest using a lot of short angled control shots and getting him off the court. He has shot counter so power shots will be mostly ineffective. He has semi-colley king so deep top spin control shots don't give you an easy ball. And by all means do not let him win 4 points in a row lolol. I think the easiest (although its not easy at all) way to win a point is finishing the point at the net.

just like in real life novak hates slice so slice your backhand try to bring in forward to net to expose his weak volley and mix up serves

I think the opponent (AI) level increases to expert in the finals of a grand slam, just a hunch.

Personally I have had more difficulties with Murray than Djokovic.

I have had more difficulty beating Murray on XBOX than PS3 with the same Welch build. 10-0 in 6 game sets on expert on PS3 and 0-10 on XBOX on very hard, using the 0-2-18 Welch build.

Another TS4 mystery have no clue about :(

Yeah I mean it's kind of ridiculous that I can beat Federer 3-0 3-0 in the Semi and get crushed by Djokovic in the final... especially when I can beat him in any other tournament besides a slam.

I'll try those angled shots... I've tried drop shots and bringing him to net but he seems to destroy any short ball that isn't hit at an impossible angle.
