Thanks Rob! Will try. But in SIM on TS3, is it possible to SV? It seems not... :x Also, what about baseline play?

Well probably the greatest match in sim i ever played was the us open last year when i played alex13090 in the 1st round. i lost 4-6 7-6 3-6 4-6, but i had about 20 BP chances and took i think 1, due to making silly decisions and great play from alex. Alex got one break i think in the sets he won which came from nowhere, i was literally shelling him all through the first 3 sets. the 4th i clung onto, but the score didnt really reflect the match, especially in the 1st 3 sets. it was a brilliant one. I'm sure someone who A. concentrated more on serve and made better choices B. returned better at BP moments could have won in straight sets, and this against the no1 in the world on sim, with Burns who is regarded as one of the weakest sim players.

Alas i'm not that player  and alex was/is phenomenal, such a good match player, and deserved to win.

Im sure somebody could win a big tournament SVing. Towards the very end marlonbrando experimented with jensen and caused some damage, as did Pocho. with more practice they could have been contenders, i doubt i would have been as i kind of plateaued and maxed burns out for all he had.

(My favourite moment came vs Alex in a Burns v Burns exhibition, which i won in 3 sets, something like 5-7 6-4 7-6. The match was great but the stats at the end ill never forget... I hit 107 winners in that 3 set match  )

the best baseliner in my opinion is Nakamura, and probably the most popular. And Jensen is the best SV player.

Yeah naka is the best player on ps3, a lot of people like bashmikov on xbox tho. Jensen has a lot of weapons but I wouldn't recommend sving every point with him.

why not? 75 serve and 90 volley are perfect stats.

I would do it most of the time for sure, but i would SSV and stay back at least 20% of the time just for a bit of variety. You can exploit that 77 power from the back too, its the biggest power in sim.

Cannon was also great, the best SIM TS3 player used that character.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

ok, i thought that u meant Jensen isn't a pure SV player. I agree with you, Jensen can be used like a baseliner, 77 pow and 68- 63 fh/bh , very solid.

Yeah for sure. The whole point of sim in my opinion is to build a strategy maximizing your strengths and your opponents weaknesses. With a Jensen, you can be soild and hit with big power at the back, but you would be crazy to waste that volley stat, need to milk it to its max.

Likos seemed to use control shots in TS3 on PS3. I think this might have something to do with his domination of TS4 on PS3. I remember some of his shots bouncing strangely and sometimes giving me trouble as compared to the vast majority of other TS3 players' shots.

No, hold LT to hit control and RT to hit power, both to control+power.

Go to the academy it teaches you to play.
