ben-1802 wrote:u mean my slide serve out wide? well im sorry can you tell me a way to hit a hard slice serve on here? id love to know. Also did u mention you still broke me 7 TIMES ????? doesnt seem like that good of a "cheat" in your words to me. Also you try telling all the big left handed servers in the pro game today ppl like Feliciano Lopez etc etc the the famour lefty out wide serve from the ad court isnt allowed because its "cheesy" would love to see the looks you get. Again ill repeat if i was standing as far wide as i could and serve slice out wide unrealistically then i would agree with also as someone before has mentioned there are ways to counter this serve you just didnt figure it out consistently.

Also to me taking advantage of a flaw in the game i would regard as cheating but using a winning tactic is not cheating neither is the slice serve unrealistic.

It depends. How did you hit the slice serve out wide? Was it:

A.tap and aim out wide
B.hold X, aim out wide, and release when the ball is at its peak
or C.Push the left stick down, aim out wide, and then push the left stick to the left when the ball is at its peak.

so you held B until the ball was at its peak? if so, that is legal and not cheesy.

But you can hit a hard slice, especially with your over powered setup, 94 serve 94 volley, just use option c.

zero powered serves = cheesy, ok?

True - I didn't even think about the serve being "zero powered".

But he says he used a power serve, not a zps.

I just feel like i gotta say this, as much is not considered cheesy to serve slice wide(any kind of) you will not see the big guys like Berson or Dapery doing it, becuase the great players enjoy a game played fair and serving slice wide will give you and advantange over ur oponnent.

PS: I dont do it too, i consider it unfair as there are other ways to serve that wont give an utterly advantage over your opponent.

LOL, so the serve should not give an advantage to you at all?

well the slice serve that forces the returner inside the court is an almost automatic winner, might be a too big advantage

If ur good you dont need to slice wide thats all am saying.

People do that kind of serve when they realize that on a rally they´re gonna lose so they need an advantange, and im not against using it, im agains abusin it.

Well, you are wrong. There is nothing wrong in slicing out wide, it gives you an advantage, but that is normal. What do you want, a serve down the T that gives the server no advantage every time? I just hope ppl stop making excuses and suck it up that the layer beat them, that is it. It does not mean that serve is cheesy.
