If that's the case then sorry but someone told me you play with Drew Welch as coach .Did you pick that setup because you expected to play many SV? Kinda weird otherwise...

Its the only female player i ever created. Ur sources are wrong.
stop talking falsely of me here on the forum Ranma. Why i created with that setup? I mainly wanted to try out the fatality skill

I started (second setup after my horrible first one) with Drew Welch and it wasn't because I expected to play many S&V ... but because IRL I was a defensive player. I took this coach among others 'cause I liked it.

Am I weird or something ?

I meant his actual setup (fatality+passing shot sniper) not his Drew Welch 's which is good against SV but not ultimate like the first one.

^ Pretty much. I wouldn't play on ITST if I could only use one character. Not being able to change within a tournament I could accept but it would curb my enjoyment quite a bit. I play with all playstyles equally now, the downside of this is that it's harder to really master each one, the upsides are versatility and the fact that it feels like a different game depending on which player I'm using. I like playing this way, why should that be taken away?

And picture the scenario- you've got at least 4 players and you enjoy using all of them. You come up against someone who you know plays with a strong S&V setup. Why wouldn't you pick the one with the passing shot skill? It's not just people cynically trying to win, it's just making the best out what you have.

How are players allowed to switch characters within a tourney?

I'm all for using different people on the tour, but how does it make sense to use Tsonga in round 1, then Edberg round 2 and your Safin clone in the quarters?

That just defies logic in my eyes.

Scouting is fine. Changing coaches in between matches fine. But changing the entire character and set up seems like BS to me.

There's no way to enforce it per se, but it should be a gentleman's/ladies agreement that some good sportsmanship is in use.

I think changing characters is not in the interests of the sim element of the ITST IMO.

it shouldn't be forbidden because its a part of the game, thats my view on this because its impossible to do something against SV guys with an low reflex& speed guy etc.

Then change you character in prevision of the next tourney..

And btw no it's far for impossible to beat S&V guys with low speed and reflexes, I'm barely yellow on these two stats and till yet I never lose against them, on both WT and ITST. I surely will one day, but as Rob said in another topic, it's just a matter of mixing up and opponent patterns' observation
