Coincidence?

Postby Tuurbine » Mon, 08 Aug 2011 17:26

Two of the best and most fun matches on world tour that i have played, happened to be against two ITST members, Rob ITST and IluvBillval... Thanks guys for making the difference on the world tour which is plagued by tons of cheddars and camemberts!

IluvBillvall kicked my ass twice... But it felt nice to play a fair game with him, his shots are unbelivable and his defense is as good as his defense.

Rob ITST, played him last night, an EPIC match, the final of SEUL tournament on world tour, match lasted 51 minutes of pain, laughs, tears, anger... And tons and tons of fair play... Usually players who see things get complicated tend to tramline service or do drop shots like crazy... The result is not important with matches like that, everyone is a winner and it just reminded me that having a fair play over anything is one of the main reasons i joined ITST..

You find camemberts everywhere, but in itst the chances are much lower than in the world tour...

So coincidence? i dont think so.... Hope to play you guys again

Unfortunately probably more so in my case. I've been testing some different setups lately, and haven't really found one I can call a perfect fit.

Sports like soccer and basketball are getting corrupted day by day , the amount of money spent on these sports are insane nowadays and with so much money at stake , fairplay is being forgotten when it should be the most important thing imo. Tennis on the other hand remains the same when it comes to fairplay , of course there are and will be exceptions but players like federer, nadal, djoko and lots of others gives me hope that tennis will remain pure no matter what happens . Respect, fairplay and supporting the player who is trailing in the game for a longer match... these make me love watching tennis. Im really happy to see , especially the top players being respectful and fair, even knowing to smile and clap their opponents after a good rally and match! When it comes to itst , ive seen very good and talented players so far who are trying to enjoy the competition with a fairplay, so we are good at keeping the game realistic both physically and mentally i guess :)
No matter who they are, respect your opponent and support fairplay! God is a lie, religion is the biggest lie ever! I'm not a vegetarian because i dont like meat,i'm a vegetarian because i care about animals!

Im sorry but with all the respect to Nadal and Djokovic fans , i must tell you , yeah they play great tennis but they are not that high in term of fair play and behaviour.

Man, im not a mean guy but if i got to the final of wimbledon like berdych did against nadal, i'd be pulling him up on everything, ass picking, too long between points, i would kick over those bottles he always arranges after everytime he arranges them, knock his towel off his chair, all that sh*t to be a major douche and put him off his game. but you would stand a better chance of winning 8)

I disagree, but i guess everyone has a different point of view on this, btw he won in 2010 the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship award voted by the ATP players, but i guess you guys have some theory, conspiracy or whatever to discredit either the award or Rafa himself, so please go ahead, or maybe your opinion is better and the pro players, and they have no idea about what being a fair player is.

For some reason many people think that everything Nadal does, wins, says...is always wrong, but i don't get what he does to be so hated for some people, and i'm not talking about this forum but other tennis forums on the internet.
maybe envy?
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

No, I dont hate him, but did you see the Delpo match at Wimby? That MTo was fake, everyone knew, because Delpo was starting to gain momentum. And have you seen him when the opponent hits a winner aginst him? he stares at the opponent, saying basically saying "how dare you hit a winner aginst me!"
