Player change after complaints

Postby Avinash PatelBANNED » Wed, 27 Jul 2011 08:21

After many complaints against me because of using dropshot too much I have changed player in spirit of ITST.

Now my player has focus serve and serve stick berserker skills.

I wud recommend to management to ban dropshot artist skill because it only means problems for both the winner because of abuse after match and for loser bcuz it is irritating I can understand.

Thnk u

I think a ban isn't necessary, as there are some important coaches having that ability (for example the best for def baseline). As i say in the other post, just don't use it to build up every point, but if you're in the situation you can close the point with a drop shot, because in this case it's your opp's fault, as he stays a lot behind the baseline in order to reach every non-drop shot.

This coach does not need to be banned. Players using this coach should just realize that having a drop shot skill does not automatically mean you have to use it every friggin rally.

Not saying you did by the way. Im just replying on the comment on banning this coach.

I have dropshot artist and I think if you ask my opponents they wouldn't say I cheap shot it every point in the game ... there's a topic on game etiquette and cheap drop shots are mentioned - like using it too much or using it to defend a hard to reach ball - ... of course if you have an opponent far away in the North Pole and you're attacking you might finish off with a drop now and then (or you can try to slice a short ball so you bring your opponent forward and then wrap it up some other way as well) ... it's all in how you use it ... that being said I might add that there might be some players that are picky with the dropshot move (specially those who defend far away from the baseline and don't like to move forward), so unless you're cheesing it - which I'm not saying you do or don't - they just have to accept the consequences of their game style as well ...

couldn't agree more. it's perfectly ok to have it and use it as weapon, but to use it every point is just uncouth. and doing a drop shot while reaching for a ball is just plain despicable. i'm not saying you do any of these things since i haven't played you yet, Avinash. this is simply just an opinion in general.

so use the coach if you like him. just use him well...

The only people I have major problems with beating are the drop shot whores and the people who use them when they are on a dead run like 10 feet behind the baseline...that always takes me by surprise because it is so incredibly retarded.

It's actually really easy to do, too...they should have included in the programming something that says if you are X feet behind the baseline and have X amount of momentum, you have ZERO % chance of hitting a drop shot over the net.

.... AND IF YOU MANAGE TO PULL IT OFF...... THEN YOU DIE. (thats fair enough)

 as much as its cheesy and seems impossible in real life, you guys must watch some of Roger's drop shots ,don't get me wrong , i don't use it very often, not drop shot not any thing that makes the game unreal so this is just for fun:
Federer's drop shot on del potro's serve:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iQ0LFOS ... re=related
another drop return:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B2vABsxUcQ
A few -seems to be impossible- drop shots :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Ny-rKQSlk
and im sure there are much more, i remember he hit a dropshot, it was in RG 10 i guess, he was a few meter behind the baseline under heavy attack and all of a sudden he used a drop shot  i can't find it but it was really impossible.
