0/20/0???

Postby rvholly1 » Tue, 26 Jul 2011 21:15

I am brand new to this site and the game. I'm doing a lot of reading on the site to find out ways to improve my player but find that the "old-timers" lingo is hard to understand. For now, anyway. What does it mean when you say your player is set-up for 0/20/0, or 15/10/10. I don't get it. Sorry if this is a really lame question, but I am just learning. Thanks to all who answer.

the first 0 is Serve and Volley, the second 0 is Offensive Baseline and the third 0 is Defensive baseline so this 0/17/3 means 0 points in serve volley, 17 points in offensive baseline and 3 points in defensive baseline, hope that clears it up for you

The numbers represent your player's level in each of the three disciplines. First is S&V, second is Offensive Baseline, third is Defensive Baseline.

Edit: 3 minutes late :P

Hey welcome, I am not a very old member but I could help you with the info.

When you see somebody write that their setup is 5/5/10 or 4/7/9 that just means how they have asigned the point distribution for their player.

Assuming you have created a player in TS4, you have to choose to increase your stats in 1 out of 3 categories.

1st) Serve and Volley
2nd) Offensive baseliner
3rd) Defensive baseliner

So if somebody says he has a 4/7/9 point distribution, that just means he has assigned 4 points to S and V, 7 points to offensive baseliner and 9 points to defensive baseliner.

Thats it, pretty simple.
