now if only Ross, Ireland and Sparano would act like sensible individuals and get a freakin' QB that can make reads, that'd be awesome.

it sickening to have one of the best O-lines and not know what to do with it.

yes, i'm a dolfan.

here's a brief explanation I found in an old school textbook:
NFL stands for National Federation of Longthrowers. Longthrowers are individuals who specialize in the art of Shoe-chucking, which has been an American tradition since the turn of the century, when Frances Wright chucked her shoe at her forlorn lover/investor John Smith from a distance of over 32ft. Although the cause is the stuff of legends, she never expressed the actual reason for chucking. The mere look of joy in her face though, inspired generations to perfect the Art.

The "Lockout" is the name given to the NFL's top prize. Consisting of an intricate replica of a DNA double-helix using bronzed shoestrings, the trophy is won, or "lifted" every 7 years by the best Longthrower to come out of "The Gridiron."

...

Or you can just copy and paste the topic into Google. or Bing. Your choice.
That usually answers all of my questions.

thanks.
i know there's nothing like a Classic Boca v River match, but you shouldn't dismiss the NFL just because it's American and they misappropriated the definition of "football". there's some exciting stuff in there. different pace, but the strategy and last second decision making is amazing.

Boca v River, i think you wanted to type R.Madrid v Barça, i forgive you  , btw you're probably right about the A.Football, i guess that if you watch it in depth it should be interesting
That said it's impossible to watch an AFootball match in Spain, E.Football captures all the interest, i watch football tuesday and wednesday for the Champions league, and saturday and sunday for La Liga (National league), so i don't have too much time left to check other sports during the season, except for tennis
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

to be honest i have watched a couple of important matches like superbowls, i don't find it boring. we also have rugby here in argentina it's a bit similar to football (only a bit), maybe less tactic but more action imo.

Personally I am bored to tears by American Football (and soccer for that matter).

Too many stoppages, too many fat guys, too many idiot fans...
