I want to point out something to everyone who thinks being the best at a video game is an accomplishment. Video games are a hobbie not a sport. each title fades out overtime to give way to another; therefore, the best is only for best for a short period off time and for that one game. This is why competitive gameing will never be viable as a means of a profession. All this talk of who or what is better is a joke-people grow up.

No one said that he is the best. I just pointed the cheat deep always perfect corner annoying shots that "good players" do...

And then the irony started...

not true for all video gm genres, tho. there are many pro video gamers in south korea who make $xxx, xxx per year and are media superstars.

that said, you are right about ts4. its only a competitive hobby.

WOW players and SF players have made money but those two games have a huge fanbase and have been around for a long time. I also know Halo 2 was equitable for a time and Madden really was the first to carry large purses at tournaments. With the current global economy there is no way anybody is making 6 figure as an annual income.

-Tom Taylor, from USA, at the age of 19 his incomes for playing Halo2 were $150.000 per year. By the way this guy has an academy where he teaches people how to be a good gamer. ($115 per hour).
Nowadays he has a lucrative three-year, $250,000 contract to play video games (HALO3).....not bad.

PS: I don't think i could do that job, it should be very boring (to me of course), i can't even imagine how many hours he has to play every day  , and always the same game Oh God!! :?
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

The only problem I have is with those who spam Drop Shots... Really? :?

Does anyone else have problems with these players or is it just me?

I kinda do...I find it extremely annoying.

Without lag I have no problems with them, but against a laggy player who hits a ton of drop shots, I start having big problems because I mistime that shot where I'm just barely getting to the ball...I find it super cheap when people just hit a ton of drop shots but what are you gonna do, can't really put a limit on drop shots.

The moment I get paid to play video games, that is the moment I will start to hate playing video games... The moment it becomes a duty is the moment the fun factor is out of the way.

Hey I know... they should patch the game AGAIN so that every single shot that is "cheating" or "lame" can be wiped out.

You guys seriously need to lighten up.

It's a.... wait for it..... video game.

It is not your life... and if it is, PLEASE stop playing and go outside.

Do something, anything, that will allow you to disassociate your whole being with a damn video game.
