Left or a Righty?

Postby MrMackNasty » Wed, 13 Jul 2011 16:15

I am a righty but I play with both. I feel like lefties have an advantage for some odd reason though. I know its all in my head but my serving game is much better with my lefties although my stats are the same or less.

OR, make them a lefty or a righty and make their BACKHAND their weapon instead of their forehand lol. Hows that for messing with your opponents mind  8)

But yeah i feel the same as you with the whole, lefty seems to be more effective-ish lol. Its probably psychological more than anything :P

it doesnt really matter its just lefties are more rare than righties so its a little wierd playing them. plus lefties are used to the righties out wide serve and righties not so much lol

Have you ever played as a lefty though? I rarely play vs lefties but when I do I don't notice any differences other than service games because the sides are different. But when playing as one my service games feel much stronger. I feel like I completely paint the lines even more than I do as a righty. Its just weird lol.

my player is a lefty lol, and yeah i find holding easier. plus there backhand goes to your forehand (alot of righties make that mistake) . but i think its more in your head lol,

I find having a lefty serve helps me out quite a bit as a poor server. I also find my cc forehand is more lethal as a lefty but on the otherhand, my backhand is poor and can barely generate any angle on it.

I think I'm a complete nutter, but on any video game I literally cannot STAND being a lefty.

Messes with my mind.

Be it on Madden playing with a left handed QB or using Nadal on this game, I just cannot get used to it. Left footed strikers on FIFA do my nut too. Always line up the shot on my right foot and never finish as well as normal lol

Weird thing is, is in real life I'm pretty much ambidextrous! lol

I do find playing lefties tough. Takes me a couple of games to adjust, but man I hate when a lefty makes their backhand stronger lol.

I really wish in the menu under where it says their traits like 'Monster Defence' they would list their hand so I can prep an effective gameplan before we get on the court and I get steamrolled in the first couple of games lol

i'm left-handed in real life and i play with a lefty.
my service gets broken quite regularly, as you know, Mr. Nasty.

i think the only seeming advantage would be familiarity (or lack thereof by your opponent).

I think thats one of the main advantages in real life, the rarity. As it is, i play just as many leftys online as right handers, so i've gotten used to it haha!

I'm a lefty in real life , and i dont feel safe playing with a right handed player in ts4 , so im kinda stuck with nadal on pro players , and i always create a lefty player :)
