I do think so. My impression is that i have more problems timing my shots playing on clay. I really prefer to play on hard and grass courts. But maybe I´m just a crap player...

There's definitely a difference.

I find on clay balls bounce a bit higher allowing people to hit sweeter shots at tough angles, really opening up the court. On grass it's much quicker and instinctual and on hard it's like the perfect blend.

I am only just getting to grips with clay, but I played online before I was and got annihilated by a guy playing as Nadal just hitting these ridiculous shots cross court really close to the net allowing him to finish off the rallies with ease.

ON grass I don't think that's so possible.

I much prefer faster surfaces though.

What are the best playstyles for each surface though? (on this game)

Def baseliner for clay, s and v/ off baseliner for grass, all rounders for hard.

Surfaces

Its different to me even on the carpet and indoor hardcourt. The clay takes the power shots away versus on the hard court and big serve in grass.

I find it harder to serve and volley on clay, but I think that's just because of the ability to slide.

only difference i notice is on clay where my character can slide whereas on hard he would stumble to some shots.

I like the sound of the stadium. The ball striking sounds much more realistic in my opinion :)

Maybe it's just me. But i love playing on clay. I'm a off baseliner. It feels like i have more time to choose my shots. also like carpet/indoor hard.
Probably just a psychological thing..
