What I think is completly same as Enummievol. I really have no bad intention. I have no intention to play unfairly. My player is a baseline defender. He has only 63 power and it is not enough to finish a point. Therefore, I tried to mix with drop shots when the opponent was losing position.

Anyway, I respect to his view. I just want to know whether it is disallowed in ITST. If it is disallowed, I don't mind giving up to use drop shots. I just don't want to be banned.......

i played against you. Ive played you three times. I Won one, lost the other two. You are not cheesy. In fact, you are a very skilled player. Your opponent was probably just mad that he lost. People can be sore losers sometimes, it happens and we move on.

Thank you Sure Shank. It is not a good feeling when your tactics have made the opponent displeased. I have said sorry to him and I hope we will have a good game next time.
one thing is most important in ITST: Respect

Drop shots got a bad reputation from some of the previous TopSpin games, where it could be really cheesy. With TS4, I haven't seen anything that makes me think they are cheesy.

That's exactly why I keep saying there should be absolutely no restrictions on drop shots. If somebody wants to hit 200 of them in a match, well it's not real tennis and quite annoying, but oh well, it can be countered. We are playing a competitive video game and the only thing that should matter for us is if there is a type of playstyle that completely destroys the balance of the game, especially since 2K is doing their best to make sure real tennis is the most successful playstyle.

I find 100 power/serve stat people stalling before serving so it's a coinflip between default no-power or one of those full-power things kind of funny. Not sure if cheesy, though :)
