S & V is dominant post patch, previously I had never lost to a serve and volley player now I can't seem to beat them. It's like tennis got teleported to the 70s and 80s. S & V is the new ti/md with shots that are uncounterable, checkmate. If you can't beat them join them, I'm gonna make a Tim Henman this week!!!

No, like I said in another thread: net players don't need to be so close to the net anymore, so we can cover the lobs.

Oh, and btw: If you get beat 6-0, 6-0, it's not because your opponent was a S&V player. S&V will only help you win half the games in a set- we can't S&V on return games.

well I am glad that all styles are viable now .

I was playing the other day with a "touch" player , I guess he wanted to be like roger Federer because he made his character look like him and was wearing a baby blue polo , I swear a god he did a god job , he had 45 in volley but his drop volleys and placement was spectacular , I stand no chance as he came to the net at the right points to close it out in 1 or 2 volleys max .

Low slice returns to try and make the volley as difficult as possibe for them. Any loopy topspin return plays right into their hands. And try hitting control only passing shots to get the best angle.

btw, TS Invasion/Monster Defense set-up is still far too effective and cheesy. I'm glad ITST banned it.
