its this damned points system they use now...Del Potro was still top 5 after he hadnt played in ages then all of the sudden he dropped off....not sure when, but Monfils will drop here soon

The points system is accurate but can really skew results, such as ljubicic winning miami last year, that 1000 points artificially enhanced his ranking a great deal. and yeah it was his achievement in winning, but it was just a hot streak for a week or so, and isn't really a measure of his consistency all year round. You could win the OZ open and not play another tournament all year and probably be top 20 at the year end.

It's certainly made him put a lot more pace on his shots, his ground shots look really good the last 3 games.

Personally I think murray is just putting on a show. I don't believe it hurts as much as he is making it look

He should do it more often if it makes him go for his shots like this a bit more often. If he keeps going well and Nadal hasn't looked quite at his best I reckon he'd have a good chance in the semi finals.

I agree....he is moving just fine during the rallies and...I don't know but he just looks to be exaggerrating quite a bit in between the points...he does this quite often, he likes to keep things like this in his back pocket so he will always have some excuse (even if it's an excuse he only tells himself) if he loses
