Devs need to fix slicing. It's a chronic top spin problem. the timing for slicing should be as hard as the timing for serves if not harder especially off different types of balls. And the timing for attacking slices should be made easier. Even pro players with amazing slices don't use it that often and rarely hit slice winners.

Anyway, Pei Jinq Quah was to ban but I think others can be beaten with tactic ways...

Jan Chalupa has top spin invasion, is he part of the "banned" coaches for that?

Nice work, I can go back to my original player I used when I first started. I was currently trying to build a new character with TI or MD to compete with the players that were using it.

Thanks ITST

Just played a match with Godzin using the new rules. The game plays pretty much the same to be honest. Didn't notice a huge amount of difference. Still the same angles and deep shots that everyone doesn't like. I still feel it's just the way the game is.

loving the new rules.

I agree that now these skills have gone there will be less of a gap in the ability of character set ups.

Lets not complicate things too much guys...

Everyone was complaining about M/D T/I and now its gone, lets celebrate, not give the management a hard time about the all the other possible problems. lets just enjoy the game.

Im just pleased this overpowered set up is now gone!

Long live ITST 8)

Just don't waste your breath, they think they know better, so let them have it their way and just swallow it. I''m curiously looking forward to the next outrage.

(you removed this comment, good move, but I caught it and it sorta reflects on how you look at things.)

...yeah, we are totally and utterly clueless how tennis games work.

...and the next outrage will come. It always does. I am counting on it. Our "lack" of experience in tennis games tells us that. You know what would make that outrage not come? .....doing nothing. You know why? ....cause there will be no players playing the tour. No players - no complaints - no worries.

Wake up buddy. Look up at majority approval rating. Do you want to have a tour? ...or not?

Let us run this thing, please. Once again, your opinion is very clear, in every single posts you make. Just steer clear from jabs towards people that create this environment for you.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

I mean, honestly I'm halfway in between Crotatsuya and Djarvik's opinions. I don't think banning those coaches gets rid of what people dislike about how the game plays, specifically those 'crazy angles and consistently deep shots and on the lines' but at the same time, getting rid of the coaches that people seem to hate will help appease a lot of ITST members which is good. Since the game still plays pretty much the same to me, I think it's a good move since it doesn't affect me much but it'll hopefully make other members a lot happier and encourage them to stick with the game.

At least they re trying, but its not like the game can be changed, only capped or tweaked. Or else we would be known as 2K

I see no point in arguing right now about what else had to be done other than banning PJQ and the other coaches on the ban list, because its really to early to tell. Lets give this new rules time to mature and develop and see what is the trend for it, who will be the new power coach, if it becomes really unbalanced or not, the only thing we know for sure is that new things will beging to appear as the new rules set in, its completly normal.

Well, I am new in the ITST, I guess I am one of the least informed users around here of what has happened before in the past, but I have seen this kind of behaviour before in other activities and the trend is always the same. People push for a change, and when the change is done, people will push more for the fine tuning the new changes... but before fine tuning we must learn how the new tuning is working... and then the fine tuning is done.

Cheers for the new rules 8)

No, it's worse. Not by a whole lot though.

Why is it that in the past 3 TopSpin games the slice can be used to cheese sooo much? I think there's been fewer forehand slice winners on the pro tour in the past 30 years, than there is in a typical set of TopSpin.

I think, after a bunch of 2K open matches last night, I know what you're talking about

hitting drop shots on a dead run from like 20 feet behind the baseline
