I think half of them were serve volley atemps. If I play serve volley every time with this carac he would have punished me.
Just play unpreditable and come in at the net at the right time and volley perfect ;)
Volley shot artist helps a lot with Drop volleys trough which you can even be more unpreditable, come in and play a drop volley where your opponent is coming for or smash the volley with A/B down the line.

I played my match against robbin92. Don't look at the score, don't mean nothing, he's very very good, but his character has putted him in trouble since was a nice allrounder, has no weakness, but also has not a real weapon to count on. So I have to admit that I had a better player to play with :) . Anyway I have to say again that I'm very happy with this rules...at least we have a little more variety and some different strategies, more funny...really curious to try also the "rule test tournament 2" :)

Yeah, it was a lost case from the first point, think I only had in 4 games chanches to win the game. I saw the opening sometimes but my player just couldn't do what i had in mind while i had perfect timing.
Still I enjoyed this 6-0 6-0 defeat more then close three-setmatches i've played before with the same points over and over again.

This tournament is running so you cant sign up for it anymore. Test rule tournament 2 is open for sign up. You can sign up for it by going to the homepage of the tour you wish to play on. The rules for this tournament are written 1 forum thread above this thread.

played against Dapery, nice match, we have used almost the same player, the match was preatty close and I think much funnier than a TI/MD mirror match also if the players used where similiar

wow, I love the challenges  I'm sure it will be a great match :)

I want to add a little review to this rule test tournament, aside from what will be the final score etc, from my point of view this tournament was great. I had played against different created players and the general impression is that this game has more to say if played with more variety. The worst part of TI/MD setup is that the mind while I play is..."off"... at least for me, I can play good also with my TI/MD character, but the strategies involved are not too much and it's difficult to stay concentrated and see what really appens in the match...It's possible to have fun also without any rules, but I'm convinced that this type of "rule test tournaments" are really usefull! Can't wait to see what appens in the next test tournament and hope there will be some others :)

Being a s&v player, it's obvious I like the rules of the test tnt 2 more than those in test tnt 1.
But I would like to add this. If a general stat restriction would be applied like in test tnt 1, please note that quite a lot of s&v setups will come unavailable. This is because lots of those setups have a (very) high serve stat. So if you would want to encourage s&v play, which I assume is the case, please keep the restriction to 95, or at least on the serve. Remember those high serve stats do not give overpowered serves anymore since the balance update.

Very close match against Baghdad! one of the toughest and funnyest match I have played! More matches I play without TI/MD more I enjoy it! I saw more tacticts, strategies and different setup, like I said in my precedent post. I had a bit more luck on the tiebreak and then maybe he toned down a bit. hope to play you again Baghdad, thanks for the match, I hope you have enjoied it too :)
