sorry i wasnt much active in the community these past few weeks, i am submerged with work and barely have the time to play the game. Also the national inter-clubs games have started and i am playing every week-end (lost my last match 7-6 in the 3rd in a great match but sour defeat!)
Anyway. In my first round against hoochie i won 6-0 6-0. We had some interesting rallies and it was interesting to play her because she didnt play like most itst players do so it felt fresh. I won easily mainly because I played "in the zone" (i was a bit drunk after drinking champagne after my inter-club win that day

Here's my own setup:
FH 75, BH 65, SRV 68, VOL 46, POW81, STA 84, SPE 63, REF 68.
skills: counter shot, longer better.
Then as i said the next day i played inter-clubs and lost my match in a 3rd set tie-breaker, all my other teamates were annihilated violently and i lost the double with my partner while we were undefeated for 2 years. What a sad day. I shouldnt have drink this damn champagne the day before.
So i was kind of depressed, not drunk, and tried to get my revenge playing TS4 while LuckyStef asked me to play the 2nd round. I took a beating 6-0 6-3.
I used the same player. Luckystef's setup:
FH 81, BH 72, SRV 66, VOL 39, POW 72, STA 93, SPE 75, REF 52.
don't remember his skills.
We started kind of even. I felt i could break him the first game. Then i lost my serve 0-40. He confirmed the break. 0-3, here we go. Mentally going downhill i could still enjoy what was going on despite the fact i played poorly. In the first round i played drunk and my player was responding like he was on EPO. On this match i was sober but i felt like my character was having hangover. We still had some very fun rallies but they ended with the same result for the most part: Stef winning the point. I think he's a better player than me anyway but i felt i could have done better than that. Cool match nonetheless.
The players setup felt nice, i had more power than him but used mostly control shots, except for the end of 2nd set where i unleashed my fury on almost every hit. lol Stef was defending extremely well and sometimes barely hitting the ball back until he hits a clean winner out of nowhere! Couldnt say anything else than "well played man" each time.
It was also my first time (and only time) playing after the patch. I didnt feel like the split step problem was solved at all. Maybe it is just me who has poor anticipation.
I enjoyed the tournament for the time it last and am looking forward the next one like this.
