Ok guys I just fiinished reading the whole thread.. Well I can say about myself that I LOVE to make the slice out serve, almost every single time.... but here is why:
1st) It helps me win points on my serve
2nd) In REAL tennis is exactly the same, just ask Roger when Nadal serves with slice out wide in the advantage side? Or ask Nadal when Nole serves out wide in the deuce side?
3rd) If the othe rplayer keeps struggling with returning my serve that way, I will keep doing it more often because its working.
Now, the issue here is that not EVERY player has problems returning wide slice services, and that is when I start to mix it up much more. I position myself still wide but serve to the T, then slice it out wide, but mixing it up, because I know it isnt working.
To make things short, if it works for me I will keep doing it, if it doesnt then I will have to adapt. I have played against several players from ITST and the wide sliced service doesnt work to much against the best players, they leave me without that weapon; so that means it has a counter measure only that most of us dont know how to use it. The day everybody knows how to perfectly return a wide out sliced service, then I will have to figure something else that complicates them more than me
