I don't think I'd go that far, but who knows, Rafa and Federer have set an astonishing pace the last few years.

YOU AND I BOTH COOLHAND....i will have my coffee ready, surround sound pumped, and my recliner "reclined" 31-0 BABY----RICK FLARE "WHOOOO"

Coffee? what time will be there? The match starts at 18:30

it was Jameson and coffee... this match was great....nole is playing with so much confidence....but, there is a lot of tennis to be played this year between the two of them....we still have Rome, and RG on clay and then another long part of the season on hard courts---these guys are so equal in the mental area of the game, we are going to see something special for the next 2-3 years if neither of these guys get injured...possibly even a greater rivalry than aggasi and sampras

Moralspain wrote:this is an important date guys, it's the first time Rafa loses on clay without being injured or not at his 100%, today his was well physically and mentally and Nole crushed him, no doubt this guy (23 years old) is the future number 1, and for many years. Congrats to him, i enjoyed watching those BHs, amazing

   , you aren´t very objective in your comments.
And now, talking about the match, Nadal served really really bad, played today without many ideas, playing too many times to the bh side, forgetting that Djokovic´s bh is "a bit better" than federer, Nole played very comfortable and punished Nadal with fantastic cross bh, the serbian is in his best moment, but he will lose this season, the first time in Roma and the second in Paris.

Nadal yesterday

"The No. 1 ranking is not in danger — it's finished (laughs). Let's not lie to ourselves, that's the reality," Nadal said. "Nobody likes to lose. I have to see what's missing and working with a cool, open mind to decipher things and find the solutions. To try to do a little better next time."

this rankings system sucks....its difficult to keep the #1 ranking, maybe that is the point? for example next year if Nole doesnt win the AO, he will lose 2000 points, loses Indian Wells and Miami another 1000 points each, etc....BTW how can we see the rankings for the year end race?
