Fair enough man - don't bother with 'dogtooth' for now....sounds like the near opposite of what you describe - more a study in human mechanics/control - do you enjoy reading, in the general genre you mentioned?
I'd give Julian May's 'The Saga of the Exiles' a look if so - seriously amazing series of novels - sci fi/fantasy realm - unforgettable to say the least : )

Yeah, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot though. I just prefer fantasy films etc.
And yeah, I do. I haven't read much before, but I had no internet for the first half a year at uni, so I managed to get through The Wheel of Time series. I've also read Lord of the Rings, though that was a while ago. I've also recently bought a couple of other fantasy books. My mum has a huge collection too.
