:lol::lol::lol: none taken Jay!! haha and Tiger sometimes I feel like it. In high school I'd talk races with this big scruffy white dude...our bond was the speed and roar of the engines on race day...

 good times

I once had a girl tell me "You're NOT black..." because I watch NASCAR, play tennis, and eat trail mix (random ). Add to that the fact that I can't shoot a basketball (on a good day I'm 4 for 10) or throw a football (normally I throw the psycho spirals...), and ppl have said on the phone that I talk like a white dude from California...

It's really bad... but at least I LOVES me sum fried chicken!!! (Had some today for dinner as a matter of fact :lol:)

@ tigerofintegrity: Yeah true that....I don't know a single NASCAR fan either.

Then again I am a young, slim, (somewhat) intelligent man who lives on the West Coast, not exactly their demographic.

Old, fat and dumb is what they're looking for I think.

No offense JJDubz :P For that or the black thing :P

I feel stupid writing 'no offense' all the time but I guess I kinda have to.

If you heard me saying these things 'IRL' you would know right away I'm joking :)

exactly, n once you're around the forum for a while you see a little personality traits here and there. The faces/emoticons don't hurt either :P

Yeah. I'm not even an 'emoticon person' either I actually totally hate them  ...

...

Seriously though I do hate them, but I find them very useful here because a lot of people don't speak English as their 1st language.

I actually hate them too! They're soooo... yellow and evil and perfectly round with their smug, fixed expressions. I usually go for text emoticons like '=p' when I'm using an IM. Just when it's a forum, it kinda feels like an unwritten rule you have to follow. :/

Yeah they're basically the earthly embodiment of pure evil.

Like I said though, I use them to convey my real feelings here because a lot of guys here are not native English speakers and there is a lot of subtlety and nonsensical shit going on with English that others might not understand.

that's true Jon, plus i bet many native english speakers don't even understand their own language either, so those emoticons help everyone.

IMO, watching car races is pretty boring, but playing car racing games is a lot of fun.

Has anybody ever played Trackmania. That game was so addicting, it was just a bummer my computer had a hard time handling it.
