xbox 360 Help. Please?

i have a problem with my xbox 360 and wondering if anyone can help me. ok here is the deal, when i turn on my xbox i hear the xbox startup noise but i dont see anything on my tv. I also can here friends coming online and everything. When i click buttons i can here the effects, but i dont see NOTHING at all. I have my red, white, and yellow wire where they are suppose to go in my tv set. . . it looks like everything is working perfect but the problem is that i cant see anything on the tv; therefore i cant play . . . anything of you guy's advice would help, thanks. :D

Do you have something plugged into the S-video input right next to where you put the red, white and yellow wires?? Because if so you might hear one device (say, a DVD player or other game system) and see another one on the screen.

I'm not too good with this type of stuff but I thought I'd throw this out there since this actually happened to me a few weeks ago

Make sure the TV/HDTV switch on the Xbox cable (it on the cable, right where it plugs into the Xbox) is not on HDTV.

get some new cables it may be the problem or better still use a HD lead,,,, good luck

thanks peoples :) i think i found out the problem. My red and white input plugs are working for the audio, but my yellow input plug isnt working for the video. Maybe my yellow plug has a shortage in it. I will get me a whole new wire. Thanks for all!

Forget the wires, get an hdmi cable 8)
