Guys, if you play WT online today, could you please invite a few people to join?

The challenger below has 9/16 signups. We cannot start it unless a minimum of 16 players join.

We need 7 more! :P

And if it doesnt work? Its not my flat internet that wont work, it's whether or not the folk who fixed my yellow light remember to plug the ethernet/bluetooth card in. Thats even going as far to assume the ps3 will actually work and not be yellow lighted still.

And if I take it back up and it doesnt work, gotta wait another week before I come back down to my house.

Guys, we got this tournament up to 12.

I'll give it till end of day, and if we don't have 16 - we gonna have to cancel this event.

Can you maybe do one more effort and invite a few more players?

Thanks!

Wow. Tour just started and it's a struggle to find players. This confirms my suspician that many feel this game is weak. :D

Not even close.

If anything, this is the biggest the tour have ever been. So big, that we started Challengers from day one and soon will start with Futures.

Sorry to disappoint you. We have over 200 players signing up each week and we are still growing.

Altho im not a huge fan Will the game is popular at the moment tho once VT 4 is released there will prob be a big influx of players going to that as the games are relatively similar in some ways , so itl even itself out i guess just like TS3 did

Yeah, I guess. I'm soooo disappointed because I really wanted to like this game. :( I used to look forward to coming from work and playing TS3 but I just can't take TS4 seriously. I play a little the 2k thing but it is really depressing thinking of how good they had made sim tennis in TS3 and now this monstrosity of silliness takes it's place. Every point must be won by a winner. It doesn't take any real skill to play anymore because it is so unrealistic. Perhaps I'll find another game I like but I sure miss a good sim game for my PS3. I honestly thought the majority of ITST liked realism but boy was I wrong. I had no idea that even Djarvik and RobITST like arcade tennis. Really a bummer...

I beg to differ. It takes a lot of skill.

I do not like arcade tennis. Never did. TS4 is blend of both SIM and Arcade. Although the blend at the moment favors Arcade, it is not bad at all. There is strategy to be had and if you play me - I can show you.

Am I wishing for outs and more errors and more strict timing - hell yes!

Do I think the game is crap - NO. Far from it. It is entertaining and its the "new game in town".

I am also extremely happy that 2K is updating the game and trying to stay on top of balancing issues and even willing to listen to us and patch things up. This is great! Granted, not as fast as some people want it, but still.

The success of this game is at most importance for tennis games fans. Why? ....because success now means the series lives. I am afraid that failure means the end of Top Spin.

Right now, according to ITST numbers - the game hitting the spots. Sales worldwide is not there yet, but me thinks with the upcoming Grand Slams and some marketing from 2K will get the job done. TS games are not your COD games that sells by millions the first week, TS games are slow and steady selling process. I just hope 2K sticks with it.
