I think I'm going to have to play a little of the peacemaker here. Nobody should be hating anybody because of lag issues. I'm sure it's not Itastallion's fault that a lot of people get lag when playing him. What would people have him do? Emigrate to another country to please you all? Just raise the issue, talk about it etc. don't be condemning him for something he can't control.

And Itastallion, you're not really helping your own cause at the same time by being so cocky and confrontational. People weren't bashing on you or branding you a cheat, they were just discussing issues about playing with you. We're all just voicing our observations. Most of us do get considerable lag when playing Australians and that's just the fact. We're not saying you're not good at the game, lag or not, just that lag makes it harder to play you because you are good on top of that. I don't have a thing against lag but I do agree bad lag can it make it so hard to play. Sometimes I've had it so bad that the shot is past me before the game actually catches up. So yeah, please understand bad lag is really tough.

Now let's all hold hands, form a circle, sing songs and dance around the fire.

thanks bud sorry i just felt like i was being targeted in this topic for obvious reasons.

But yes you are correct it is not my fault i do the best i can turn my laptop off and phone which are connected to wifi when i play matches to try and get as lag free as possible. It's only my PS3 connected plus its wired which makes it better apparently.

Wow. People really hates you here ItaStallion
I'll add you to my PS3 if you don't mind to play against you.
Right now I'm more on your side. You are propably just too good, so they uses a lag as a excuse. It's totally normal, it's just in human nature

damn with a name like ITAstallion why are you from australia?

I remember playing a guy from australia in TS3, think it was something like insomnosiac, but anyway we had some awful lag in our matches. But its sorta what i expected though, i mean he was from australia and i was from the US.

Anyways do i believe you are purposely causing any lag, no i have never heard of anybody having a lag switch. Do i believe there is lag, probably but there is not much anybody can do about it.

I do believe that lag is present in all my games I have played with opponents from this site. Online gaming has it's highs and lows and one of the lows is of course lag.

We must all deal with it on our own accord and come up with plans or strategies combating it.

I enjoy some trash talk as much as the next player though and that is what gives me my competitive nature. Without it i would drift through life like a normal average person with no one aspect of life i excelled in.

If you wish to add me please do PSN: ItaStallion

P.S. I currently reside in Australia for work reasons but am originally from Napoli my home town. I also was an amatuer boxer and the name fit me like a glove to be ironic.

Well since I never say anything on forums, I'll comment for once. ItaStallion, I have nothing against you, but it does not matter if you end up becoming #1 with the way you are acting...people won't see or recognize you as the #1 player because of your attitude. If you win and are humble, that's different, but honestly you could trash talk all you want, become #1, and no one would care because of your attitude. Maybe change it a little and people will be like wow, he really deserves it.

ItaStallion wrote:ok first of all there was barely any lag in our match... ran very smoothly

the problem with your character is not running to the balls it is hitting the angles since your player had no power... Only way you could win points was to take me off the court so to say which you did not do...

I only made that set up this morning cause i felt like having a power player in my arsenal...

your player got to a lot of balls it's just i could easily position myself and hit full powered flat shots to either side which eventually your not able to get to...

my guy was slow you had to exploit the angles to beat me is all i'm saying :)

Hey, I was very clear in saying the lag is not why I lost. I would have lost regardless. But there were NUMEROUS times where my guy would just freeze on the court, despite me holding the stick left or right and trying to get him to move across the court. And I'm not even sure how much of that is lag and how much is some kind of bug in the movement.

My complaint wasn't because of the match I had with you; it was a general complaint with movement online. There's nothing more frustrating then seeing your player stand in place when you are telling them to run, or seeing them start to run and then stop for a second even though you never let go of the analog stick.

I'm sorry this thread turned into arguments between ItaStallion and other people -- my intent wasn't to say anything about him; it was just the match against him that finally pushed me to make a thread about the frustration with movement online. Again, he would have crushed me regardless, but I would have been less frustrated if I could actually move around the court.

Yes we all have that problem in the game.

The topic turned into a gigantic anti-ItaStallion thread after though.

Which is fine at the end of the day, i enjoy giving stick to opponents/players as much as i receive it.

Wow, didn't know this thread could go that far...

Just curious, I'm living in Asia (Hong Kong), does anyone here also feel like that when playing with me?
