to be honest ItaStallion i see big change when i play, maybe thats why cause my player stats are not so crazy ( serve 84 power 72 ) realistic guy

So berskerker a focus serve give me some small advantage on serve but now when they change it makes my player sooooooo normal....Guys who have better stats on serve and power, serve more aces and harder to return the ball then me :cry:

So i think that this patch make useless this special ability...

I haven't played all weekend, so I'll be looking to see if that made any changes. Send a message to my first opponent in the Blumeau tournament this morning, so will be waiting to see when he replies.

i said i don't like it less aces from 1st serve.... which gets rid of a monster set up...

By the way i found another monster set up now since i have tried every set up possible only took me 1 month 1 week lol...

so right now i see 4 monster set ups

Top Spin Invasion/ Monster Defence
Serve Stick Berseker/Focus Service
Inside Out Master/ Diesel Hard Hiter

and the 4th one is ????? as i don't want to see it start dominating online if i post it here.

but like u see they didnt make any change to the other set ups...just mess with serve focus and berserker what piss me off

honestly they should have kept the 1st service the way it was and just changed the 2nd service to what it is now........ would have made perfect sense.

and we would have a much better game as a result since you could get your first serve in since there is no risk since you have a 2nd up your sleeve. But then on your second you wouldn't even go for the angles scared you would double fault.

yeh 2k need to patch back to normal the way i see it

Totally agree with that (though restrict the power on second serves to a maximum so that big servers can't try and bomb them anyway). That's exactly what I've been pitching for all this time.

lol you guys are funny , first you call us whiners and now you whine yourself.

Obviously you guys dont play real tennis , "tunning the second serve"? guys in RL serving a second serve doesn;t make a difference , you could go big on both serves , the reason why you serve safe on the second serve is because of a risk factor on big serves on first and second , and you dont want to double fault .

If they made it harder to serve then that is good , that how it should be.

First or second it doesn;t mather , big serves are supposed to be hard .

Hurray for giving it to people that like to win without hitting a rally.

obviously you don't play tennis for your 2nd serve your not very likely going to go for a big serve and get a double fault and give away a free point hence why the added pressure for the 2nd serve makes sense...

read the post properly before you comment on something... There is always less pressure on you for your 1st serve as you know you have a 2nd backing you up just in case you stuff up your 1st... I played tennis competitively for 6 years from 14 - 20 years old...

Don't try and explain to me a game a mechanic i practiced for many many years.

Haven't noticed any changes due to the serving, but maybe that's because I'm using Federer?

Either way I agree about how both the first and second serves should be kept the same, if you want to risk the second serve that should be your choice. I play tennis in real life and I'm a guy who risks nearly all his second serves...

I agree with Venom too. What difference would it make if it only applied to second serves? Most guys with big serves hardly ever miss the first serve anyway.

But if all serves are harder, then you miss more first serves, and there is automatically more pressure on the second.
