Can someone please explain GMT time to me? And super dumb it down because I seriously don't get it at all. If it helps I live on the East Coast of the US.

Hey, good to see you again. Make sure to use CET and not GMT (sometimes there is a difference). You really don't get it still?

Summer time, as listed on the website I linked (CEST can stand for either standard time or summer time, so CEST doesn't really add a distinction between the two).

Well, except in the summer, like now, when it is actually GMT + 2.
