Within 24 hours I lost more matches (without winning a single one) than in one year of playing TS3....

I HATE TS4

You forget me

I did not forget you but you don't count. i know for a fact that you are not human but only a 5th hidden difficulty that is only available online, the very-very-very-hard-pro-super-extrem-slaughter-chucknorris-difficulty. And now 2K even hacked ITST and he, I mean it, is posting here in the forums... unbelievable...

Damn it , how did you know?

Its an enjoyable game for basic gamers but to be honest i think the game is shit , its like ping pong u can rally forever with the weirdest impossible shots , and if you go up the line , you do so at your own risk because it doesnt actually go up the line , it sorta floats to the opponent autimatically , so its basically just a case of going cross court until someone doesnt , i think its a very rushed game , and its very apparent its a czech company that has been behind this , i have played matches where i have been taken to 3 sets and made 2 errors on average ?? I wont be playing the TS4 tour as it just gets boring after a few games , and i highly doubt any "issues" will be patched

Yeah, i do get the feeling of 'cheaper' and rough around the edges. I still find it enjoyable, and personally I like long rallies 8)

I also like stupendous, insane all or nothing shots, or just random smacks at the ball(that were possible with double risk shots in TS3). I don't like I can't attempt that properly now, with only being able to hit it fast/not too precise or precise/not too hard or somewhere in the middle. I'd like the ability to go for an out and out rally finisher even when I'm not properly in position. This should be very low percentage though.

Couldn't agree with this analysis more. I'm selling my copy tomorrow - disappointed isn't the word for it - feels like the post-new-star-wars-crash all over again.....all the hype, the months of looking forward....followed by the crushing let-down of the 'finished' product. I fully appreciate the impossibility of keeping all of the people happy all of the time - I do - and I reckon TS4 will still be a commercial hit....but so was Phantom Menace....and both are, for what I'm after, steaming turds. Sigh. It would have been nice, but was not to be.

Rich it's a shame you are selling your game so soon. I appreciate where you are coming from in part - I felt like that after a week or so of playing it however having persevered with it I am really reaping the rewards now for sure. People keep talking about topspin cross court battles, I don't get myself into too many of them. I can quite easily take the ball down the line with control shots. Anil or Puttu and I will have to record a match or two to illustrate the depth in the game. Yeah it's not TS3, but it's good in a different way for sure. Furthermore once a SIM tour comes in and TI/MD is outlawed or 2k patch fixes it the regularity and effective of such things should be all but removed.
They call me Baggy...

TS3: No.1 MSS - retired (15 titles)
TS4: No.3 MS - retired (2 titles)

There is interest... I am interested, that must be enough :D ... I need to win the **** French Open, come on guys, let's at least go on with the TS3 SIM tour...

@ Baghdad: as long as there are no unforced errors, TS4 will never be as good/ as SIM as TS3 (SIM). I have to admit though that the game is somehow really fun to play, but in the end I think that TS3 was the ways better game - just my opinion...

appreciate your words man....maybe if/when that day (improvements are made) i'll consider a re-purchase....and I would be interested in seeing a video such as you describe. It's not just that it's different from TS3, which of course it is....i just don't like the BOOM BOOM BOOM...what-the-hell-just-happened nature of it....it's more like a Red-Dead-Redemption quick-fire shoot-out than a tennis game.....i'll watch the future...but am not expecting to change my mind : )
