With all the top players retirement, will the tour (reg-sim) be as interesting as before ?

Yes for sure ... and it let me win few tnt so it is good !

Uninteresting tour?

Postby Rastaman » Fri, 22 Jul 2005 11:20

Hey all

As i just saw Al Jam retirement  i think i hav now no interest to play tnt.... i don't see the interest if all the good "old " players stop to play (master, le dieu, al jam, Kay80, Carlus, etc....)

So do u think the regular and sim tour are always so interesting ?

I don't think so for my part, let's see ur opinion

Pffff, there are some upcoming good talents on the run right now, and the xbox players as Maaax, Mecir, devilish etc. will come back soon! So it's always interesting in reg!

In sim there are also great new players like Daruffy that can beat each player except you and ced. Or Jesper or who ever.

The tour rules!

cheers

There are strong players coming up (as you guys mentioned, Daruffy is one heck of a sim player), and as old guys retire new people come along to replace them. There are some nice close games now, and I think that's good for the community.

I think there's plenty of players coming up.....

Dave82, Phidias, Squilari, Riker....there are plenty of others too that present good challenges.....

You have to appreciate that I've been playing this game now since Oct 03 when it first came out on xbox.....so for me thats a hell of a long time to play the same game consistantly.....& overall out of all the games I own this is the one I always came back to coz the online play was such fun......& it still is but for me I need to step down coz I'm frustrated at my level which is not as good as I know it can be.

For me it's about winning tournaments....if I don't think I have a realistic chance of winning events then I won't play & right now having such little chance to realy put in serious practice I have no realistic chance of beating the very top guys, which is who you have to beat of course to win the events.

I can't say I won't ever play again because I do love this game but whilst I can't put in the practice time I won't enter tournaments but this shouldn't I hope, lead to lots of others deciding to stop playing.

Would be glad to see a comeback where you grab more games and get the same strength (top 5 ) as you actually had at the start of the year.

Rasta,
you should play a match against semimhal and xiquilin (adding few more names to the Al Jam´s list) to see the "new generation" coming.
There are some "old" names too as Thanza,Koopax,Drunken,Jonesman and many others capable to have great performances.
So the tour will be funny too even though we will miss Al and other retired guys.
