I hope the ITST will set up some guidelines/rules about player skill/set up really quickly. Personally I dont have a solution. I have a Girl wich some find "i dont respect you anymore"... The thing is that the different setups has advantages but also the opposite.
Like if u have a good defensive topspin player a power player is loosing the advantage of hitting hard and against a net player you suddenly lack of speed.... so what to do ?! Should we All play with the same setup to make it more fair ?!?

honestly no matter what ITST agree on i can see people still using the same setups as now just a little weakened...

so its still going to be the same thing

instead of calling this game top spin 4, 2k sports should had call it top spin complain, or top spin cheats. im sick and tired of so many arguments. im at a point that if things dont change, im over itst!

just to weigh in too....it seems quite a bit less 'configurable' when it comes to the character set-ups....as in TS3 we could set each of the attributes....here we set one of 3 with a value, and can add some extra to forehand/backhand....i don't know...i'm still getting familiar with online play...but hard to see how a SIM tour in TS4 can have anything like the same scope/depth as in TS3 simply as a result of that alone....

C'MON... There are still enough possibilities if you choose between 15/0/5 and 5/0/15 (to let out the extrem builds). Same with coaches. If you cancel the TI/MD and all that gives +10 or more in Power, there is still enough variety...

T1/MD? Don't know what you mean by this....?

Have to say, I find myself missing TS3 from the perspective of somehow more realistic tennis.....i'd like to see SIM TS3 without RISK ('cos I can't use it!!!).....any takers!!!!?

The only problem I have is with the serves , people that can serve well get way too many free points on their serve and on top of that , if you manage to return the serve the opponent usually puts it away in the next shot , Power is not the problem , the combination of a good serve and power is , I think the problem comes from the serve sticks being too good vs serving with the buttons , and that it is too easy to keep hitting the lines and serve twice hard , once the ball is neutral and the point is being played it can go either way , usually with me winning it .

So all the WT wide slice servers or the guys that serve from the trim lines are the problem .

one solution i would suggest is :

Limit the amount of points you can have on certain attributes .

For example:

Group A:

serve/power limit 140

So you have to use these number to distribute among seve and power , if you want a lot of serve then you cant have a lot of power , if you want a lot of power then you cant have a lot of serve , or you can go 50/50

Forehand/backhand total points to spend :140

SO you want a federer like forehand ? then you are going to have a weabackhand , or you want balance ? then you have 70 forehand 70 backhand

Anything else is fine I supposed , any couch is fine as long as the bonus points do not make any of the above numbers exceed the limits .

What do you guys think
"It's nice to be important , but it's more important to be nice" Roger Federer .

"All who gain power are afraid to lose it , even the Jedi" Emperador Palpatine .

Actually what I ment to say is , if the top 20 of te tour had roddick serve , federer,s flat forehand and volley , djoko's backhand , nadals speed and reaction time , federer's slice , and murrays consistancy i think people would be upset , people in the atp are not going to comain because having a big serve , or big swings and speed takes skill in real life , if it was really hard to time serves and winners in this game thwn no one would complain , but the faxt is , anyone can do a character in 2 minutes that is perfect to compete online with , i dont care , but it makes the game unrealistic when in fact it could be

This is why I stopped playing online. 3 games is dumb to me. I play on very hard in the career mode and play the ITST matches only.
