Its a good feeling Jay. Every-time I come out to play I feel worse and worse ...like I no longer able to do certain small things I used to be able. Kinda frustrating.

Altho I have been hitting my 1H BH beautifully as of late, sorta the only positive, but makes me smile every-time.

I've experienced the opposite lately. Everything works great, especially my fh and serve. My 1H BH has been broken since a friend/collegue and former (almost) pro player started giving me advice on how to improve my BH. He even wanted to convert it to a 2H BH but that was where I drew the line.

But his advice was good and in combination with a few fuzzyyellowballs videos I got it working again, and it feels like it soon will be better than ever.

i kinda agree, but if you play against high level players variety is never overrated, i mean when i play someone with a bad BH, for example, i'm gonna serve and hit most of my shots to his BH, obviously, if it works why change that tactic?, but if you play against someone with no weaknesses you HAVE to change your strategy many times during the match, i know this from my own experience.
That said i love his videos.

that's actually true, but for example when Nadal plays against Federer he always follow the same tactic, we all know what i'm talking about, but when he faces Novak, he changes his tactic cause probably one of the best shots from Nole is his 2 handed BH, so he needs to play more to Nole's FH and it's what he does, and the results against those 2 players are good.
You need to know how to adapt your game to the situation.

My backhand is my better shot... I can attack more with it more often. I'm a lefty too, who plays righty's ALL the time, so I can see why it's better (most righty's when feeding hit their forehands cross-court...). That being said, my forehand is not too far behind lol. I can create angles more with my forehand with the spin. And I have a lot of variety. I just need to PLAY MORE!!! grr.

Getting new strings put on right now, pretty excited.

They finally got some 18 Gauge Luxilon TiMO's (the shop I go to usually only has 16 or 17 gauge) so I'm getting those put on and am gonna pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait!

I saw those Dunlop Black Widows and was actually gonna buy them just on Rob's reccomendation, but they ended up being only 2 bucks cheaper than the Luxilon...I kinda thought they'd be like 10 dollars or more cheaper.

I've just never got them in the lighter, 18 Gauge variety.

I love those strings though....I use a racquet with an 18x20 stringbed, and I still get a buttload of spin on my groundies. Great feel (seriously, Luxilons feel great you just have to string them looser), great power, and great spin, I don't know what else to say. They're awesome strings.

another small thing- I string at 52 pounds (which is relatively loose) and these Luxilons NEVER move. That's kinda cool.

i've been using Luxilon strings for a long time, the ALU Power 17, very happy with them, strung at 25 kg (55 pounds) on a 18x20 stringbed racquet, super happy, actually i won 2 tourneys with that setup, but now i'd like to get more spin, cause you know i'm not getting good results on clay, a that's a disgrace for an spaniard hahaha, the point is that i don't generate a natural spin with my FH, i've got a Berdych's or Fedrere's style, what do you think Jon? have you used ALU? if so, differences with the TIMOs?

I haven't tried ALU's, just TIMO as far as Luxilon goes.
