It looked like Pete could have made it much worse - I think Agassi's body is just too broken down.

Ok come on Rob. :D

I know the guy did meth but he was no Layne Staley or something.

For the amount of time that he said he was doing meth it could not have possibly affected his body that much.

Unless you're not saying it's from the meth and more that he's just let himself go, in which case disregard everything I said.

A little bit of hair > no hair.

That's why Borg is the greatest of all time (11 Slams by the age of 26; tons of hair).

No, I didn't mean from the meth. I meant broken down from injuries (and the extra lbs he's carrying around).

Really though, it shouldn't be any surprise that he's worse off than most others his age - not if all the stories are true about how he never really stretched. That's just unheard of for pro athletes. Plus, he did have a pretty freakin' long career.

I caught some short highlights, great running forehand to get the first break. You cant teach that 8)

i thought this may have been a bit harsh from sportsillustrated:-

"Hate to say it, but if you'd never seen or heard of Agassi, and got a look at this bald, pasty character, you'd make the pre-match assumption that he'd won some kind of "Play a set against Sampras" contest."

I don't care how much I had paid for the tickets, I would have walked out of Madison Square Garden the minute I saw Agassi wearing Mardy Fish socks. Aie yie yie.
