The few players who are up to Clijsters level are injured or are on a slump of epic proportions. Clijsters doesn't even have to play well anymore to win matches.

I agree with that! The only real threat is Serena and she's unlikely to return till wimbledon in my book...

I agree! I am proud of Clijsters. I think the best of women's tennis in this era has come from Belgium (Henin and Clijsters) and the United States (Williams' sisters).

Clijsters well beaten by Kvitova today, she was not really doing much and Kvitova has a big game. Btw Wozniaki can get back to No.1 next weekmin Dubai.

You know what's really funny? I just got the newest issue of Tennis Magazine recently and there's this big article on how Wozniacki is a 'real #1' unlike 'pretenders' like Safina and Jankovic, and how she's likely to hold the #1 spot for a very long time   :lol

Wanna hear a good joke???

To be honest, if we didn't have rafa and fed the men's wouldn't be much better. If we didn't have rafa fed joko and muzza it might even be worse!

"Having already made certain that she would reclaim the world No 1 ranking from Kim Clijsters in today's updated list, Wozniacki won the Dubai Duty Free Championships for the first time with a crushing 6-1, 6-3 victory over Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia."

Aw hell, that didn't last long.

Good for the WTA. As good as Kim is, she's almost like a part time tennis player these days.

Well Kim has no points to defend on clay so with sone good performances at the big events will put her back on top. To be fair Wozniaki looked a lot better than in Oz but Kuznetsova really is mentally feable.

I second that... didn't see the highlights yet though, but knowing Woz's game and Kuzy's mental instability I'm guessing Kuzy wasn't all there.
