Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Going to assume that was an iphone error or something :D, but to answer your question:
No.

If I dislike a player, it's usually because I dislike what I know about them as a person as well as a player. These factors are almost always intertwined, so it's easy for me to pick favorites.
One of my favorite parts of watching tennis is player reactions. The cameraman always gets a good closeup slo-mo shot after a big point, right? You can tell a lot about a person by their reactions, or lack of reaction during a tennis match. But that's a different topic.

I've never been agitated or angry watching Murray play. Slow, safe play has been around since... well since the very first game of tennis EVER PLAYED I would imagine.

I´m not starting a fan club or anything, but saying you hate him and calling him names because he plays a certain style of tennis is absurd.

Completely serious

You are right about hate, too strong of word to use when I dont know the guy. (Actually the time I did get to see him at Cincy, he was a pretty cool guy. Signed autographs and talked to the fans, more than some of the players.)

That being said, I think how someone plays is an important factor on if you like the guy or not. Of course what you mentioned is true, but you usually dont base it off that alone, and you cant base it off playing style alone either.

Me personally, Murray as a person is a pretty cool guy. But watching him play, I just wish he would go for more.

Murray as a person- like
Murray as a player- dislike.

So you still think it's ridiculous to dislike somebody because of their playing style?

The Mutant should have been born during the '30's or so. That tennis suits him the best.
Ban Djokovic forever!

I'm riding the "Hate Murray" bandwagon because I'm no fan of his mother. Granted he had absolutely no control over who spit him onto the planet, but he does (should) have some control over this unhealthy relationship with Mommie Dearest.

Emate, a major reason for my dislike of Murray is because of his celebrations at wierd times and his court attitude, not necessarily his gamestyle. For a long time I disliked Djokovic for his arrogant attitude and annoying family, but he seems to have finally grown out of that and I'm starting to like him now. When Andy grows up I'll probably start to like him too.

"Hate" is too strong a word to use, I guess. But Murray's playing style is pretty off-putting, to me at least.

I really don't care about any of that other stuff like on-court demeanor or who's family is the most annoying or fist pumps at weird times or whatever. I pretty much watch the tennis for the tennis. And Murray's brand of tennis is just plain boring.
Cerebral tennis my ass. It's sleep inducing is what it is.
