I watched verdasco match man what a streak was on I think won 17 points in a row once 40-15 down on tips serve.

According to the stats men he won 32 of 37 last points not too shabby lol.

Also fed simon match, I recorded and mostly fast forwarded through coz though fed would walk over after 2 sets up thought so but mmm a bit off by fed and my recorder wasnt scheduled for like a 4 hr match.

Play tv so helpful so far this aus open.

Did you watch it?

no i was at work, but my bro told me Simon had a real chance of getting the match
"It paid off. I got lucky. I'm happy I'm still in the tournament," the 16-time major winner said. "I wasn't playing poorly in the third and fourth set, but Gilles took it to me. Clearly, he's a great player first of all. Matches against him don't come easily ... hopefully we don't play each other anymore!"

@ moralspain, thanks I'm just trying to figure out what happened, I go to sleep after he goes up 2 sets to 0 and I wake up to find he won in 5 sets. I was like WTF!

Simon reads Federer very well, a bit like Murray, playing softly softly sometimes and then maybe going for a big shot and taking Federer by surprised. Federer hit a lot of errors trying to muscle the points and came unstuck, plus he was getting picked off at the net a lot.

Simon was playing well enough to snatch this one and could well have a very good year again on the basis of this performance.

Does anybody think Del Potro vs Baghdatis is going to be a good match tonight?

I definitely think so. DelPo wants to get back to the top and Baghdatis is a good test. I think Bags has the consistency to challenge DelPo if he's off, but the Argentine has a lot more weapons... (like his atomic cannon forehand)
