Hewitt-Nalbandian AUS OPEN R1

Postby Chris ITST » Fri, 14 Jan 2011 20:25

Well for me its a kick in the balls.. two players i have always loved watching and i really expected them to both go deep in this GS as they are both back to full fitness and playing well. But yeah what a spanner in the works.. Round 1 ? This has QF written all over!

Big Shame

So whos taking this one then?

Hewitt Or Big Dave?

You can never count Hewitt out! He lives for the fight! Nalby can make you feel like a fool and loves "outsmarting" the opponent which he is very good at. I'm still going with Hewitt but if Nalbandian get's an early lead or finds a weakness then it'll be really tough. Hewitt in 5 or Nalby in 3.

If it's just about forehands and backhands is Nalbandian but if Hewitt can stick with him early on and get the crowd going it's anybody's game.

Hewitt in 5.

What a bummer seeing the draw.

If Hewitt turns it into a dog fight and last for 4 sets then I pick Hewitt.

the thing is that nalbandian plays a final vs ferrer (could be a 3hr match) i would predict that if the auckland final is less than 2hrs david wins in 3 sets. if not i would say 50/50 or 60/40 for hewitt.

Nalbandian got dismissed by Ferrer 3&2. Hewitt meanwhile beat Davydenko, Youzhny and Monfils to win the exhibition event in Kooyong.

Anyone chaging their bets?
