Can you return roddicks serve for $1000?

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

hmm i'm not sure, he's been out for a very long time. I think roddick should just count himself lucky he got the one slam before fed really hit overdrive.

I agree with jayl0ve. What Roddick has been doing is amazing. I am starting to think that he strategizes with the ranking system to make sure he stays in the top 10. There is nothing wrong with that.

If he can just bring out that Roddick of '03, I will be watching tennis tournaments more often than now. :P

I would like to see him do it again. In my opinion, I think he won, because Federer was acting like a big baby. He was uselessly arguing with the umpire. It did not make sense. He was winning easily. To me, it was as if he gave the grand slam title to Del Potro.

Don't get me wrong, Del Potro played well. I am just saying that Federer's mal emotional/mental attitude did go in favor of Del Potro, BIG TIME.

I see that he had a wrist injury in 2010:

I hope he comes strong this year.

To see Roddick lose more often? He's a much better player now than he was in 03.

You think? Really? He used to hit deadly forehands. His serve was decent enough. I do agree with you some what, because he did hurt on the backhand groundstroke and definitely had next to nil volley skills.

I wish he could have pulled off that break at Wimbledon when he played Federer in the final. Oh . . . 15-40! Errrr . . . He could have broken Federer and served-out that game to hold the BIG ONE!

im not his biggest fan but i was really rooting for roddick that day, you have to take your chances though. I think that will be his last grand slam final.

Yeah man! I wanted him to convert those chances so badly. I think he was even like, "WHAT DID I DO?!" "HOW DID I LET THAT GO?" Wow Roddick! If Roddick were to win a grand slam final, I think he has chances at Wimbledon more than the U.S. Open.

Come on Roddick. You have to do it know, because the young guns are rising-up and the top 10 is only getting better!

It was not so much the 15-40 as fed hit 2 perfect serves to save those points, more in the 2nd set? tiebreak when roddick was a few points up and missed a simple volley and balked. He must own some sort of record for most holds of serve in a row before losing.

Yea. I did not intend to discredit Federer in any way. I am just talking about how that really hurt Roddick.
