But GOA, do you think it will run without problems?

Remember 1 year ago when UFC 99 was in Köln. Many important politicans stated the never want UFC comes back to Germany...and if they don t allow it, it can t be made...

i see no problems here coz the UFC have the official ""GENEHMIGUNG"" license to make this event in germany .
the german gouverment give their okay . so" LETS GET IT ON ""

the official problem is this, that the german gouverment mean that its tooo brutal at all because its allowed to punch and to kick (for a knockout) a fighter forward when he is helpless on the ground , .not like in boxing where automaticly comes a break after a fighter goes knocked down .

BY THE WAY thats bullcrap coz the trueth is when a UFC fighter is helpless at the ground - than the referee stopps the fight .
also you can´t hit a fighter everywhere when he is on the ground!!

this crazy politics -to lazy to read the rules first before complaining - this dumpoffice fatasses,

UFC is not forbidden in generell - only to send the events on free tv .

Looking forward to Yoshihiro Akiyama (aka SEXIYAMA) vs. Michael Bisping (aka Bitch) at UFC 120!

This fight is very unique in that it features one of my absolute favorite fighters- Sexiyama- versus perhaps my least favorite fighter ever, Michael Bisping.

Prediction: Akiyama, 2nd round submission

Bonus Points: Judo throw into Kimura

So, did anybody else catch UFC 121, or more importantly, Cain Velasquez vs. Brock Lesnar??

Lesnar suffered a savage beatdown at the hands of 'The Terminator', Cain Velasquez, the new UFC Heavyweight Champ. I didn't even give Cain a chance to win this fight, I thought he was going to get annihilated, but instead he looked really impressive in there. Brock took the loss like a champ, which also kind of impressed me.

I hope this motivates Lesnar to improve his weak stand-up game, because I really do like him as a fighter and hope he gets on top once again.

CONGRATS MR. VELASQUEZ!!!

Velasques is a real badass.

I saw him 15 months ago at UFC 99 in Germany and was very impressed by his skills.

Don t ask me why, but it could be the start of a new era.

Nothing against Brock, he did amazing the last 2 years. But the way he became UFC HW champ was a little bit to simple. He defeated an old Couture to do it.
At that time his record was 1-1-0 (1 win to Kim Min-soo, 1 loss to Mir), and his 3rd fight was a title shot.

Which Boxer could become a title shot at a 1-1 record? I guess no one.

Maybe Lesnar will comeback and beat Cain, but i don t think so.

SEXYAMA is a cool guy . his way to the octagon was cool -you saw how he react to the girls on the way to the octagon.??
like a sexy badass lol.a realcool guy
i dislike bisping not so much- mean he is not my favorite fighter but i do not hate him. (MAYBE HIS HAIRCUT WOUWOU ;DIGUSTING.

bisping had dominated the fight totally.so his victory was deserved.
my favorite fighter in this event have sadly loosed .
i mean the outlaw "dan hardy " i like this crazy guy .he is cool in my opinion.
it was a great fight against carlos condit.
sadly "THE OUTLAW "loosed with a brutal KO in round one .

BTW: I saw DREAm 16 . was a cool event. you saw SENGOKU RAIDEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 15 at weekend??

very hard defeat for brock lesnar.
i wrote it earlier here in the thread .
cain velasquez is a beast . a real killer . a knockouter...and here he is the new champion .
very good cain .
the event was relativly boring ,except the fight velasquez- lesnar .
brock starts good -very powerfull -
to powerfull . so powerfull that he makes a takedown by himself lol
you saw this ??
that was crazy . i never saw so a crazy thing in the octagon .

i like BROCK;but to be honest ,brock had luck to win his last fight against carvin.
carvin dominated BROCK the whole fight.
and now cain stopped BROCK in a impressing way ,in a dserved way

i hope now for a heavyweight fight velasquez - carvin soon .
that would be a awesome fight . a dream of a fight

but when i remember right carvin is fighting first "BIG COUNTRY""NELSON!
but i´m not to100%sure about that .

BTW: you saw the win from brendon schaub against gabriel gonzaga?
i never thought he can do that. respect for brendan schaub.
by the way ,TITO ORTIZ also loosed his fight. that looks for the end of his fighting carriere by UFC .
how you think about tito ? end fighting for UFC .yes or no?

thats not correct .
where, in which fights you noticed this?
i feel more and more fighters are using jiujitsu than pure wrestling-only a few fighter use ground and pound in generell as main tactic (just my opinion)

you can´t compare here UFC with boxing .

in boxing you fight first 20 ""victims" till you got a final shot .
when you start fighting UFC ,you allways have to fight the best fighters first.
when you will start a UFC fighting carriere you fight no victims.

this fight against couture was a interims championfight .
couture was the challenger nr 1 spot for fighting frank mir (the champion -) in a championsfight .
and as he loose against BROCK , he deserved to fight frank mir for the title.
also brock lesnar defend the title 2 times .
so brock is a real true champion in my opinion.
a champion is a true champion when he defend his title .

so thats a totally different to boxing - - but i can understand your point of view .in boxing you wait years for a title shoot

BTW: cool next UFC is in oberhausen germany .
some cool fights -also our 2 german UFC fighters are fighting this night.
AWESOOOOOOOOOME
i will look for a ticket .
the UFC is not that often in germany .so................ i will try to organize it

a bit of an over exaggeration to say the above. yeah there's politics involved in the sport which keeps the top fighters from fighting each other too early because they want the pot and the hype to grow as much as possible. and yeah each promotional company wants their cash cow protected to a certain extent. so yeah there are your usual tomato cans that every prospect faces on his way to the title shot, but to say it's like 20 victims resuscitated from the graveyard, that's a bit extreme.
how is it in UFC? no time period for the fighter to mature and grow in his particular skill set? just put him in with the best right from the get go?

you are right . in all.

20 is to much .with that i just want to make the difference clearly .

yeah UFC is totally different here. no time to grow. you must fight directly against one of the topfighters . to proove how good you really are.you never fightin your first fight a victim by UFC .

i understand well the way from boxing .
they build a fighter , there you make step for step till you got a title shot .

mean in UFC you got normally not a title shot after 2 winnig fights -but it goes definitifly faster than to got a titleshot in boxing.
BROCK LESNAR was a special case.

BTW: nice to see you again here bloufo .i also wasn´t long time not here in forum .

GOA, bloufo, Nitek Doraku, I'll respond to you all in due time, but I HAD to answer this...

CHEDERER, I dunno if you're just joking or trolling or whatever, but man you gotta be smoking some pretty good quality crack (or PCP I guess) to make this statement. Submissions are more important than ever now...in the early days of UFC there were maybe a few 'submission specialists' but now everybody cross-trains in different disciplines and everybody (EVERYBODY) is familiar with the grappling/submission game.

In the last 3 UFC events (118-121) there have been exactly 13 fights that have ended by way of submission.

BTW there's nothing new about 'ground and pound', and honestly few fighters these days are real 'ground and pound' specialists.

jon ,this is absolutly correct . exactly this is the case .
in every from the past 5-10 events ,are more submissions wins than KO´s with fists or feets together . and very less ground and pound wins.

mean i like g+p . its a good way to end a fight on the ground .
