Clijsters won it as expected but she hardly played at more than 75% the entire event.

Wozniaki still to beat one of the big 4 (Williams & Belgians) but the backhand showed it can do some damage if she looks to use it. She could definately bag a major next year but if Serena or Kim play to form they will always have the match in their hands.

Wozniaki is worthy No. 1

Postby danishchamp » Mon, 01 Nov 2010 19:07

I think you are very wrong if Kim did not play 100% had she lost. she was actually quite close. when you're ahead 4-1 and losing 7-5 in 2.set so not only play at 75%. Kim has far more experience than Woz in 20 years.

"Wozniaki is worthy No. 1 in the world and now it's Serena who must show that she is the" best ".

I don't really think Serena has anything to prove. 2 majors from 3 played says it all. Kim went to sleep at 4-1 and it became a dogfight. As I said though I do think wozniaki will win a slam next year

If Serena plays at his 100% no woman can beat her
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Nah nowadays that isn't true anymore, there are handful of women who at their best could hang right in with her(and depending on the surface, even be the favoirte): Henin,Stosur,Venus,Clijsters and Sharapova.....but again they all have to be at their best!
