Not sure I agree with you, and here is why:
if you don't make lets/netcords random, then we will figure put how to execute them on demand.
if you do make them random, then it will be cool in friendly games, but it will be unfair and extreemly annoying when happens in ITST matches, especially if you know you did everything right.
As for hitting the lines: the sidelines should not be a problem, just make hitting a bit early or late have an effect on direction. But hitting deep or short is tougher.
