Lefties, in real tennis naturally have a better out wide serve, at least that's what commentators like to say.

Also, allot of commentators and even Wikipedia say that lefties hit the ball with allot of top spin and that that was a natural lefty game, I never understood why that was, anyone care to explain?

It's just a bunch of crap, I have NO FRIGGIN IDEA why commentators (who are SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT) spread myths like that. There is nothing about being left-handed that grants you more inherent topspin than righties or makes your slice serve somehow slice more than a righties slice serve...I've played tons of lefties in real life and there is absolutely no difference.

the only reason lefties have an "edge" during matches is because you are just not used to playing lefties as there are not many. Ive played lefties (of course not pros), but i saw no advantage for them
