she is (was) a great player, she had awesome matches against Seles, Hingis and the Williams sisters

I hate it when articles like this don't mention which drug it is...like that's totally irrelevant?? :?

Big difference between maybe mixing some prescription drugs and having an accidental overdose...and slamming 7 bags of heroin

Don't know the circumstances but hope she is OK. A great player and competitor.

i read she had overdose of cacaine...
very sorry about it!
she was a great player and great person on the court...always honest...
but she had drug problem too when she became a young star of wta in the early 90's...
hope she will get well soon :!:

Update...

ORLANDO, Florida (AP)—Former tennis star Jennifer Capriati was recovering Monday from an accidental overdose after slamming 7 bags of heroin, a family spokeswoman said.

The 34-year-old Capriati, once ranked No. 1 in a career sidetracked by personal troubles, was in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery, spokeswoman Lacey Wickline told The Associated Press.
