Musically speaking, what do you like?

My favorite tunes are grounded in bluesy jazzy rock, old school bluegrass and drug-influenced country. Sample: Bruce Springsteen's Thundercrack <--- CLICK (doesn't get much better than that!!!)

Anywho, what music/artist floats your boat?

Also metal: old school and progressive

Pretty much everything but mostly rock stuff. My favorite band would be Dream Theater.

when i ´m in right atmosphere i like grunch ala GUANA APES and NIRVANA

at all during the day i also hear actuell hits from radio

most worst music for me is violine music

and (sorry cro ) american country
also GERMAN COUNTRY like wildecker herzbuben is disgusting

I listen to almost everything except for stuff you hear on the radio/MTV...no clue what's going on with popular music nowadays, to be totally honest....don't care, either. I listen to a TON of metal (death, black, thrash, blahblahblah), but trust me I listen to more than that.

i think i said it earlier here that i heared till i was 26 ,only metal .
METAL METAL METAL in all possible forms .
this have changed .

i´m also not a big fan from this MTV retort music . but over the day its a neutral music to hear .

I did say "drug-influenced" country (alcohol-influenced also works). The stuff with an edge. That would be Johnny Cash's early work and the music of Hank Williams (Sr) and Steve Earle, etc. Not a fan of yee-haw country.

I like a lot of styles...Funk,Blues,Rock,Metal,Rap,Jazz,....Even some "flamenco" (i'm not sure it's the correct name : but im' a big fan of Paco De Lucia!)
In rock i'm a huge fan of Hendrix,Rolling Stones (but the first albums...Since the 80's i hardly like what they did...) Led Zep,Santana....In Rap i like Aesop Rock,MfDoom,Madlib,Quasimoto,Dabrye,Jurassic5,and of course Snoop,Busta,Wu-Tang,Redman,Cypress...And in metal i more like "death metal" or "brutal death" styles,like Suffocation,Necrophagist (a solo German guy! :shock:

),Death,Carcass,CORONER (a swiss metal band - a bit like Voivoid- who actually made me like Metal!),Loudblast (a french metal band!Yeah!),and of course some of Metallica,Slayer,SoD,Napalm Death("Suffer the children!" lol)...
I hate C.Dion,Britney,Usher,anything that comes from reality tv show,...
Oh!And in funk i am a big fan of Prince!

(and James brown,Maceo Parker but no need to precise it...They're the best!!!)
Edit : And some punk music too! : Suicidal Tendencies!!!! "Go Skate!!"
